Sugar sambol buns are a simple yet delicious treat many of us grew up enjoying. By giving it a small twist, we can turn this everyday snack into something even more flavorful and special. With just a few basic ingredients, this new variation brings together sweetness and gentle warmth, creating a unique taste that pairs perfectly with a cup of tea or works wonderfully as a quick evening snack for the whole family.
So, let’s take a look at how to prepare this delightful treat.



Required Ingredients.
Prepared onion sambal fry .
1 Tablespoon of margarine.
A little water if necessary.
1 Egg.
Salt as needed.
Yeast added to half a cup of lukewarm water.
2 Teaspoon of sugar.
2 Cup of Wheat flour.

The order of preparation.
First, add the wheat flour into a bowl. Then add the egg, yeast, margarine, salt, and sugar. Mix everything well until it forms a dough. Let the dough rest for about 10 minutes to rise.

Next, divide the dough into two portions. Using a rolling pin, roll out each portion into the shape of two flat rotis.
Next, spread the prepared lunu sambol mixture on one of the rotis. Then place the other roti on top and seal the edges together, as shown below.

Next, place the prepared roti in a pan and toast both sides until they are puffed up and lightly golden, as shown below. Then remove it from the heat.

Next, cut it into pieces.
