My Love for Cookies
A mí me encanta hacer galletas y tengo varias recetas, pero una de mis favoritas es una con la que puedo obtener infinitas posibilidades de sabores con una mezcla base y que no lleva huevos.
Desde que probé esta receta he estado haciendo diferentes combinaciones, desde las típicas galletas de chispas de chocolate o red velvet hasta llegar a adiciones de sabores de golosinas que me recuerdan a mi infancia, entre ellas: Samba, Cocosette y Oreo.
Todos los sabores han resultado deliciosos; tan solo debo ajustar un poco más las cantidades de algunos ingredientes, como en el caso de la galleta de zanahoria.
If you’ve visited my blog, you might know that I love the fast-food restaurant Bungerz—I love their burgers for their taste, quality, and price—but I hadn’t tried their waffle cones yet. Last week, though, I went with my mom to have lunch at Bungerz, and we took advantage of the two-for-$1.50 waffle cone special.
Since we were going to eat them after finishing our burgers, they gave us two tickets to place the order later. The options they offer are: vanilla, chocolate, and mixed, and they top them with caramel.
I was surprised by how big they were, and the ice cream tastes fine—though I have to admit I liked the cone better (lol)—but it’s a great way to treat yourself to something sweet on a budget.

Si has pasado por mi blog, quizá sepas que me encanta el restaurante de comida rápida Bungerz, ya que me encantan las hamburguesas de ese lugar, tanto por su sabor, calidad y precio, pero no había probado las barquillas de este lugar. La semana pasada fui con mi mamá a almorzar a Bungerz y aprovechamos la promoción de dos barquillas por $1.5.
Como las íbamos a comer luego de comer nuestras hamburguesas, nos dieron dos tickets para hacer el pedido posteriormente. Las opciones que ofrecen son mantecado, chocolate y mixta, y le colocan un topping de arequipe.
Me sorprendió su gran tamaño y el sabor de la crema está bien, aunque debo confesar que me gustó más el cono (lol), pero para darse un gustito dulce teniendo bajo presupuesto está muy bien.

El domingo antepasado fuimos a comer a la casa de mi prima; fue un momento lindo de unión familiar; sin embargo, la nostalgia también estuvo presente porque sentimos aún más la ausencia de mi abuelita; ella siempre nos acompañaba.
The Sunday before last, we went to my cousin's house for lunch; it was a lovely time of family togetherness; however, we also felt a sense of nostalgia because we missed my grandmother even more; she was always there with us.
Yo llevé una focaccia de masa madre para compartir, con el relleno que más disfruto: mortadela, mozzarella y pesto. A mi abuela le encantaba la focaccia, así que compartirla con otras personas se ha convertido en otra forma de recordarla.
I brought a sourdough focaccia to share, with my favorite toppings: mortadella, mozzarella, and pesto. My grandmother loved focaccia, so sharing it with others has become another way to remember her.
