Ending the Weekend with Crepes & Milkshakes | Crepe Glazik

Hello, foodies!🍴

I just spent the weekend at Gabbie’s place, and as usual, I’m now heading back home. Before we said goodbye to the weekend, Gabbie and I had to squeeze in our short trip or food stop before I go home. This time, we decided to have a quick snack at Crepe Glazik, located on the 2nd floor of Uptown Mall.

There were actually a lot of vacant tables when we arrived, which surprised me because whenever we pass by Crepe Glazik, it’s usually pretty full. I guess we got lucky and caught them at a quieter time!

As soon as we picked a table, one of the staff handed us the menu. They mainly serve crepes, both sweet and savory, along with different drinks. Since we were only looking for a light snack, we decided to order two crepes to share.

I ordered the Mangue et Chocolat, which had mango and chocolate, plus a mango shake. Gabbie ordered another crepe. I completely forgot what it was called hahaha but I think it was either banana or apple. She also got a chocolate milkshake.

The restaurant itself has a really cute French-inspired setup. The tables and chairs have that classic café look, with the black-and-white woven chairs and little French flags on the tables. It felt cozy without being too fancy and the space was clean. It’s also right inside the mall, so you still get that mall atmosphere while having a little cafe moment.

While waiting for our food, the staff brought us glasses of water. Random fact about me: I don't drink water served in restaurants unless it comes in a bottle. So instead, I took a picture of the cute table decor while waiting.

After a few minutes, our milkshakes arrived. My mango shake looked bright and refreshing, but it wasn't as sweet as I expected. Maybe because it’s not mango season anymore? Or maybe I was just expecting that super sweet, ripe mango flavor. Either way, it was okay and definitely refreshing.

I also tried Gabbie’s chocolate milkshake, and I liked it better! It was creamy, chocolatey, and had a richer flavor. I probably should've ordered that instead.

Then our crepes finally arrived!

The crepes were thin and nicely browned, with that slightly crisp edge while still being soft and chewy in the middle. Gabbie’s looked really good, so of course I had to steal a bite. And yep, I liked hers!

Then I tried mine and suddenly realized something hilarious. I ordered mango for both my crepe and my drink 😂 Mango crepe + mango shake = mango overload!

My Mangue et Chocolat had the mango flavor paired with chocolate, topped with ice cream and chocolate drizzle. It was good, but I think I would've enjoyed it more if there was a stronger contrast between the fruity mango and the chocolate. After trying Gabbie’s crepe, I definitely preferred hers.

Overall, it was a nice little snack stop before heading home. Nothing too fancy, but the place was cozy, the staff were friendly, and the food came out pretty quickly.
