It's funny, you know, how time just creeps up on you. And it's such a strange thing because when I look back at my posts in my mind, I think "Oh, I just posted that last month!" but in actual fact a whole year has passed.
Well, I started this blog because
I adore cooking and baking for my family
It's my love language
I love Pushing My Boundaries and Trying New Things
I Love Sharing My Baking and Cooking Experiences with My loved ones
Eventually, I was so busy in the kitchen with a family of five (And that's a lot of birthday cakes!) I started a family recipe file, which we'll hopefully keep going and growing for decades to come. I decided to start a blog though, because sharing my recipes with likeminded foodies is a guilty pleasure of mine! And I like to show off a bit when things turn out brilliantly 😜 although, there have admittedly been a lot of learning curves and some seriously funny flops.
But you know what they say: "Once You Stop Learning You May As Well Be Dead," and I intend to be trying out new ad exciting recipes for many MANY years to come.
I like to do these recap posts every 10 chapters or so, but looking back, I see I did the last recap at 60 Chapters! I mean, these recap posts are mostly for my reference purposes, but they can be helpful to my fellow avid bakers, who might be interested in scrolling through all my recipes to date!
Since Claire's Crazy bakes went "live" and I've turned it into a real business, I have been insanely busy ,so I do apologize for the late update!
So, I do hope you enjoy this recap and celebrate this awesome milestone of 80 chapters with me! Who knows. Maybe one day I will write a book!
