Well, I am absolutely ecstatic to tell you that even though all three trays were baked under slightly different conditions as I tried to figure out my new little I've, they all turned out DELICIOUS!
We managed to have enough to gift some to our lovely neighbours, Ron and Jane, who are the senior couple who look after us and our lovely little housing complex, and even our kitties.
We also gifted some to our neighbours with the two little girls that Matthew and Meren like to play with. These are also Meow Meow's fur-parents!
Even after all that we still had more than plenty to give to @lex-zaiya and her partner Nick, who were the original inspiration for this batch of awesome cupcakes.
Special thanks to @aimeludick for successfully making her first batch of icing, completely unsupervised too! Well done for following the recipe and the method! I must put more recipes in there for you to try 😍
I'm so thrilled to be able to bake again, and just in time for birthday season! First up in our house, it's @aimeludick on the 27th of Feb, Then me on 02 March, Then @merenludick on 19 May, then @matthew-williams on the 27th of July, and then @zakludick on the 7th of September.
I can't wait to try out some new and exciting ideas, recipes, and experiments this year!
Honestly though aside from all the birthdays, did you know that when you are an adult, you don't need anyone to give you permission to eat cake? You can literally just make a cake for no reason and then eat till you are happy!!!
