Every region has its famous food and there are different ways of cooking. Some prefer spicy, some likes junk foods, some prefer cultural foods and some wants to eat the ones which do not belongs to their region.
I will not be wrong if I say that Pakistani foods are among the best ones in the world and more people prefer it. Pakistani foods has its onw unique taste and also they have a balance diet in their foods.
But again the cooking styles is different in every region of Pakistan. I live in Quetta and the food which we have here is far different from the other cities. Quetta is not well known for its foods but they have good hands in making variety of tea.
If you want to try the tasty foods in Pakistan then you must visit Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar. They have variety of foods and their taste is awesome. Whenever I go to Karachi I must try the Javed Nihari which is the tastiest food among all and when I go to Lahore I dont miss the mutton Karahi there which is much tasty.
Yesterday, we were have some guests who were there to have lunch with us. They were special guests and we decided to cook something special for them. We mostly prefer Rice, Chicken curry and beef curry for the guests which are famous ones for us and we can cook it in more best way.
I went to buy 4KG of chicken, 2Kg of beef and other ingredients. To be honest my mother cooks well then my wife and that is I always ask my mother to handle the cooking herself.
Specially she makes Curry items the best and its very tasty and spicy. In todays recipe there are three foods to be cooked, chicken curry, Beef curry and onion rice.
The very first thing they do is wash all the meats and the rice very well. For the rice they keep it in water for about 1 hour until it gets soften and until that time they start cooking the curries.
Chicken and beef curry have the same style of cooking and its very simple. The first step is to make its curry which is the mixture of Tomato, Onions, Garlic, Corriander, cooking oil and other spices.
After the curry is ready it is mixed with the meat and will be cooked for another 1 hour until the meat is softened well. The last step is to splash little water and the garnishing items and keep it on slow fire for another 15 minutes.
The rice is taken out from the water and then spilled on another pot. Water and oil is added and kept it for the time until the rice is well soften. I have some pictures of the cooking styles, the ingredients added and the food which is ready in the end. I hope you guys will like it.
