Good morning my food lovers, how is your day going. I welcome you all to my blog, am so excited to join this foodies lovers community, as a newbie i love to share my recipe on how prepare this delicious yam and vegetable sauce with you guys.
INGREDIENTS
500g Yam
2 spoons of vegetable oil
1kg mackerel fish
½g Crayfish
7 of tomatoes
10 Red pepper
4½ Onions
2Fish stock
1 seasoning cube
½ table spoon of salt
½ Ginger
½ garlic
½ tumeric
These are the procedures on i how prepared the yam vegetables sauce
First I peel the yam, wash it thoroughly, put it into a clean pot and i then add salt to it for taste. So l allowed it cook for some minutes making sure its and tender, i removed it fire and I keep it aside
In another pot i cook or steam my cleaned mackerel fish, i add a pinch of salt to taste, a seasoning cube and onion and allow it cook. When its well cooked, i remove the bones from the fish and keep it aside
In a clean frying pan, i heat up two spoons of vegetable oil. Add half tablespoon of salt and then add onions, i stir it a bit for it to release its aroma into the oil
Next i pour in the roughly blended tomatoes and pepper mix, chopped tomatoes, blended ginger, garlic and tumeric and stir it well to let the sauce fry until its well cooked.
I add in the mackerel fish, stir it to combine with the sauce, i then i add the chopped vegetable, roughly blended crayfish, i add i seasoning cube and stir to cook for a minute.
Once the sauce is well cooked, i pour in the fish stock to loosen it up. Allow it to boil.
Then the vegetable sauce is ready to be served with mt cooked yam, you can still enjoy it with rice.
The food was a hit for me, very delicious and the taste is out of this world
