Hello friends and food lovers! I hope you're all doing well 😁

Since we harvested our potatoes, I've been looking for new potato recipes and I found a really nice one: homemade gnocchi!

Before, we sometimes ate gnocchi from the supermarket, and of course, I loved them! They were quick and crispy. But not very healthy...

And finally, they're not complicated to make and they're pretty quick, so we have no more excuses đŸ€Ł

Anyway, here's the recipe for 3 or 4 people 👇

Ingredients

1 - gnocchis maison.jpg

For the gnocchi:

  • 500 grams of potatoes;
  • 250 grams of flour;
  • One egg yolk;
  • Spices of your choice (I used a 4-spice mix);
  • Salt and pepper;
  • Butter for the second part of the cooking process.

For the sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons of pesto;
  • 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese;
  • 10 ​​cl of crĂšme fraĂźche.

Preparation steps

I started by washing the potatoes, then cutting them into large chunks:

Then, I boiled them in the Cookeo, using the "pressure cook" setting for 12 minutes. You can also cook them in a saucepan of boiling salted water for about 15 to 20 minutes.

After that, I peeled them (be careful with your fingers, it's very hot! đŸ€Ł):

Then, I mashed them to make a puree:

I made a hole in the middle of the puree to put the egg yolk in:

I also added half of the flour, salt, pepper, and spices:

Then, I put my mixture on a cutting board and added the last of the flour:

I continued to knead the mixture and formed a ball, which I separated into several pieces:

And I rolled each piece to form a sort of sausage:

Then, I cut out pieces, trying to be as regular as possible (but that's obviously not my strong point đŸ€Ł):

Here's what the gnocchi look like before cooking:

Next, I boiled some water in a saucepan and added the gnocchi for a few minutes. As soon as they floated to the surface, remove them:

And to finish cooking the gnocchi, I melted some butter in a pan, then browned the gnocchi until they reached the desired color:

I also prepared a little pesto sauce to accompany the gnocchi!

In a pan, I simply added the crĂšme fraĂźche, pesto, and Parmesan cheese and stirred for a few moments before serving:

Depuis que nous avons rĂ©coltĂ© nos pommes de terre, je recherche des nouvelles recettes Ă  base de pommes de terre et j’en ai trouvĂ© une bien sympa : des gnocchis faits maison !

Avant, il nous arrivait de manger des gnocchis du supermarchĂ©, et Ă©videmment, j’adorais ça ! C’était rapide et croustillant. Mais pas trĂšs bon pour la santé 

Et finalement, ce n’est pas compliquĂ© Ă  faire et c’est plutĂŽt rapide, donc nous n’avons plus d’excuses đŸ€Ł

Bref, voici la recette pour 3 ou 4 personnes 👇

Les ingrédients

Pour les gnocchis :

  • 500 grammes de pommes de terre ;
  • 250 grammes de farine ;
  • Un jaune d’oeuf ;
  • Des Ă©pices de ton choix (j’ai pris un mĂ©lange 4 Ă©pices) ;
  • Du sel et du poivre ;
  • Du beurre pour la deuxiĂšme partie de la cuisson.

Pour la sauce :

  • 3 cuillĂšres Ă  soupe de pesto ;
  • 2 cuillĂšres Ă  soupe de parmesan ;
  • 10 cl de crĂšme fraĂźche.

Les étapes de préparation

J’ai commencĂ© par laver les pommes de terre, puis je les ai coupĂ©es en gros morceaux :

Ensuite, je les ai fait cuire Ă  l’eau dans le Cookeo, en mode “cuisson sous pression” pendant 12 minutes. Vous pouvez aussi les faire cuire dans une casserole d’eau bouillante salĂ©e pendant environ 15 Ă  20 minutes.

AprĂšs cela, je les ai Ă©pluchĂ©es (attention aux doigts, c’est trĂšs chaud ! đŸ€Ł) :

Puis, je les ai écrasées pour en faire de la purée :

J’ai fait un trou au milieu de la purĂ©e, pour y mettre le jaune d’oeuf :

J’ai Ă©galement ajoutĂ© la moitiĂ© de la farine, du sel, du poivre et des Ă©pices :

Et j’ai mĂ©langĂ© :

Ensuite, j’ai mis ma prĂ©paration sur une planche Ă  dĂ©couper et j’ai ajoutĂ© la fin de la farine :

J’ai continuĂ© de malaxer la prĂ©paration et j’ai formĂ© une boule, que j’ai sĂ©parĂ©e en plusieurs morceaux :

Et j’ai roulĂ© chaque morceau, pour former une sorte de boudin :

Puis, j’ai dĂ©coupĂ© des morceaux en essayant d’ĂȘtre la plus rĂ©guliĂšre possible (mais ce n’est pas mon fort visiblement đŸ€Ł) :

Voici Ă  quoi ressemble les gnocchis avant la cuisson :

Ensuite, j’ai fait bouillir de l’eau dans une casserole et j’y ai ajoutĂ© les gnocchis pendant quelques minutes. DĂšs qu’ils remontent Ă  la surface, il faut les enlever :

Et pour terminer la cuisson des gnocchis, j’ai fait fondre du beurre dans une poĂȘle, puis j’ai fait dorer les gnocchis jusqu’à ce qu’ils aient la couleur que je souhaitais :

J’ai Ă©galement prĂ©parĂ© une petite sauce au pesto pour accompagner les gnocchis !

Dans une poĂȘle, j’ai simplement ajoutĂ© la crĂšme fraĂźche, le pesto et le parmesan et j’ai remuĂ© pendant quelques instants avant de servir :

C’est un plat ultra gourmand, rĂ©confortant et vraiment super bon ! Je suis sĂ»r qu’il peut plaire aux petits comme aux grands. 😁

C’est assez rapide Ă  prĂ©parer et simple Ă  rĂ©aliser, alors vous n’avez plus d’excuses vous non plus ! Il faut que vous testiez cette recette vous aussi 😋

The food is interesting. I haven't heard of it's name and I do not know how to pronounce it, nevertheless it looks so good!!! Bet the taste also doesđŸ€€đŸ€€đŸ€€

I don't know if I'm pronouncing it right, but I say “gno-ki” đŸ€Ł It's very good indeed, the taste of the potatoes is enhanced by the spices, and frying them gives them a little crunch. 😁

It kinda has long process but it's worth it, it looks gooooood đŸ€€. Never really tried gnocchi but I want to , someday đŸ€€.

Actually, it doesn't take that long, I'd say about 40-45 minutes. It's really good, you should try it! 😁

I've never made gnocchi before, but it looks like it takes some time. The post makes it look easy, but it has its share of complexity. Especially the kneading and stuff. The sautéing looks good. It made me hungry.

Actually, it's pretty simple to make, there are no complicated steps, even the kneading is easy, you just mix the ingredients and knead. It doesn't take that long, the longest part is probably cooking the potatoes. Thanks for your comment! 😊
