My first time making delicious and homemade Chicken Roast recipe.

Hello Friends✨️ How are you? I hope all of you are spending a great time with your family.I am also well by the grace of Almighty. Today I will share with you a chicken roast recipe that I cooked for the first time at home.

A few days ago, I returned to my home after finishing my university. When I am home, I try to cook something new in my free time.

Since I have a different interest in cooking, I try to cook something new that I have never done before. Today, I tried to make chicken roast at home for the first time and it was very tasty for the first time.

As a safe worker at my house, sometimes when I cook, my father reviews my cooking😉😉.

Cooking Ingredients


500 grams chicken
1 cup sour yogurt
1 cup chopped onion
3 tablespoons onion paste
2½ teaspoon Ginger paste
2 teaspoon Garlic paste
2 teaspoon cumin paste
3-4 cinnamon sticks
1 teaspoon black pepper
4-5 White cardamom
5-6 Cloves
3 Black cardamom
3-4 Bay leaf
2½ teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoon Chili powder
1½ teaspoon Sugar




Step-by-step Cooking Method👩‍🍳


Step - 01

First, I added half a teaspoon of salt to the meat and mixed it well. Then I let the meat rest for a while so that the excess water would come out of the meat.

Step - 02

Then I put a pot on the stove and poured soybean oil into it. Then, when the soybean oil was well heated, I fried the previously marinated meats well in it.

Step - 03

I used the same method to fry all the meat until it was lightly browned.

Step - 04

Then in the same pot, I fried the chopped onions in soybean oil. It should be noted that when the onions are light brown in color, they should be removed from the pot immediately, otherwise they will over-fry.

Step - 05

After the onion paste is prepared, mix the onion paste, black pepper, white cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and bay leaves in a bowl with soybean oil and mix well.

Step - 06

Now add ginger paste, garlic paste and cumin paste to the pot and stir them continuously.

Step - 07

Then add the sour yogurt and stir well.

Step - 08

Then add salt, chili powder, and sugar to the gravy and stir.

Step - 09

After stirring well, when the gravy turns slightly brown in color, add half a cup of water and stir for a while.

Step - 10

Now add the pre-fried meats to the gravy and mix them well into the gravy.After stirring for a while, remove the meat from the stove.

Step - 11

Finally, take the meat and gravy in a bowl, then scatter the onion slices in it. The chicken roast is now ready to serve!



Results and serving suggestions


After cooking, chicken roast is delicious and has a perfect texture. The gravy used in it makes the meat more juicy. You can eat chicken roast for lunch or dinner. It also tastes great with rice or polao.The use of sour yogurt in this makes it taste a bit salty.
