I was about to parade my dating chronicles, especially online dating, but I'll save that for another day when I finally put the cruising padles downđ¤. Are you ready for me??
I'm done trying out new recipes! I will eat what I know to cook well.
On Friday, just last week, I was too tired, more like too lazy, to cook, so I headed out to find something I could eat. I went to this lady's joint. She cooks delicious food. I looove her food, especially chapatis, soo yummy. So I was there and, like I said, I loove chapatis. I ordered two chapatis to take away. As she wrapped them for me, a customer came and ordered pilau with a saucer of kienyeji (local vegetables).
He went an extra mile to praise the kienyeji and how it suraaaps. I heard that, and my mental notepad was like, "Aaah, don't say," smiling inwardly. The lady was overjoyed to hear that, and as I nodded mentally as she said what was in the mixture, my mental eye was in the market searching for the ingredients.
That also gave me an idea. Why not try out this super yummy saucer of veggies, right? So pap! I ordered, "and one saucer of kienyeji to go." I will be honest, the veggies were suraaaping, eei mailoood, I even licked my fingers! _Minister of enjoyment, eh..._and that's where an idea hit me. Why not cook for myself?
On Tuesday after work, I passed by the market, told my cabbage/spinach/kales vendor, "Today I'm having kienyeji. Where in the market can I find them?" My friend, eh, I found them and proudly walked home excited to the core! As I put on a calm walk outside, my inner child was skipping sideways, especially when I remembered that lady's cooking.
Somebody tells me why, eh, I cooked and when I served myself, they were bitter than herbsđ. I swear Tricohist was not that bitter! Oh God, you should have seen me eating, with my eyes and taste buds shut off! Wait till I told my vendor the following day, "You will serve me cabbage from now henceforth! I'm done with kienyeji! If I have to eat it, let it be in a hotel not of my own cooking!" He was literally toppling over with laughter! I had to tell him to stop laughing. It's not funny at all. Anyway, I'm done with kienyeji. It's me with cabbage and spinach and sukuma(kales) for as long as I can cook.
It was good having you in my blogâ¤ď¸. Have a fabulous Friday and weekend. See you next sesh. Peaceđ.
