I slept way wrong and my shoulder was on fire when I woke up yesterday morning. Something in the front top part of my arm is really messed up. I can't pinpoint a muscle name but all I know is this sucks majorly. Tiny movements send me into waves of pain and I can kinda keep the pain at bay by keeping my arm relaxed... Not so easy when it is my dominant hand.
Utd eaked out a win at the last minute. They did NOT deserve to win the match.
Eventually I got out to the garden where I slowly went through the picking. Just the few squash could I find.
But the cucumbers had a solid amount, one of the largest dailies so far.
I then went back out for the tomatoes.
Most of my day was spent trying to keep the pain away and I tired massage, TENS, muscle relaxers, but nothing has really seemed to help. Early afternoon I was roaming the garden in a pain haze when I saw the corn. I grabbed a basket and was able to get 6 ears harvested.
After 5pm I was again wandering and remembered I wanted to decimate the garden herpes, ie tomatillo. The WORST plant to have in a garden and a VERY mean trick to play on someone. Just drop one tomatillo in a person's garden and it will NEVER leave. They spread like a virus and are as hard to eradicate as one.
I got a couple pounds of tomatillos off it as I cut away branches. I will beat back the rest of it today.
7:30pm I was in bed which the muscle relaxers helped me finally stay asleep. The pain is still there this morning and just slightly diminished. I really have to get to work on my truck but the pain is limiting my capabilities. New readers arrive today with good lenses, I'll harvest what I can in the garden, and really need to wash my greasy clothes.
