Harvests, Potatoes, Spider, 3DP, Co-op, Truck Engine, Sunset - Friday

It's rather silly how the Table Dainty squash are anything but what their name implies... This one had hidden amongst the leaves for just a couple days and turned into the football that it looks like.

The cucumbers had fewer but the tomatoes had color on a good number. I tend to pull the tomatoes off the plants when they start to turn color and let them finish ripening in the house. It gives the plant less to work on that way and it can put more energy into the uncolored ones.

The potatoes are a bit of a pain in the ass right now with all the marigolds flowering but I still managed to dig around and filled the two baskets with over 40 pounds.

Washed and drying on the deck.

After an hour in the sun I got them bagged up. This was a few batches.

As I was opening the door to the studio I saw another barn spider had made a nice web and was hanging out in the middle of it.

Its neighbor's web was more inconspicuous and it was hidden up under the 2x4 with a leg touching the web waiting.

Quite the pile of potatoes I have.

The articulated stand needed a couple other parts so I printed them out in the PLA. I was out in the shed with the drill going making a hole in the OPi case when I looked at my watch and realized I was late for the co-op pickup. I ran around, got myself ready fast, bolted out the door and hauled ass south to the meeting spot.

Thankfully he was not in a hurry and I picked up the order for another who wasn't able to make it. He ended up getting free and came by the house a bit later.

The stand works great. The PLA printed out a good bit stronger than the PETG.

Back out on my truck I kept pulling parts off and got to the point I have to drain fluids again. I called it for the evening then as I didn't want to change. I will do that this morning.

The sun had gone down behind the horizon but the trees were still getting the bright red glow up on the hillside.

Was thinking of going for a hike and fly this morning at Scoop so got my stuff gathered but my body is telling me I better not. I can fly other days, I need to work on my truck now.

Got a soak in for a while before crashing.

So since I'm not going flying I will get the garden stuff done early then get to work on my truck.

That’s a smart idea, pulling the tomatoes before they fully ripen to help the plant, I never thought about that!👍😊
Plus fried green tomatoes are so delicious!🤗
