First thing yesterday morning I was in to the dentist to have my front tooth ground down for a crown and the back molar built up with a temp tooth since the filling fell out of it as well. I HATE dental work. I always have and I work myself up into a big ball of nervousness going into it and during it. So now I have a temporary in and will get the final product installed on the 19th. It's so weird the shape and feel of the temp but I know it is only for 2 weeks as I went with my front tooth messed up for a full year.
I got home around 10:30 and it was raining. Not a good heavy rain but a constant shitty drizzle, the kind that just screams , "YOU'RE IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST STUPID!" Maybe .2" today in the gauge. So once home my face was still numb and I needed something in me so I was able to drink some Ripple which has a good bit of protein in it. I then sat and held and massaged my face while the man city match was on. I turned it off pretty quick into the second half though. Seriously Fuck city.
After picking up the boys in the afternoon I put on NHL channel and then decided to be productive for the day by making a new batch of tortillas. I needed to do something besides sit in pain.
I rolled each one again this time which makes them cook faster so I have to be one ahead when the set of 2 go on the stove. The flow dials in pretty quickly and it doesn't take but 45 minutes start to finish.
2 dozen nice warm tortillas and it didn't take long before the stack started shrinking quickly.
@stryeyz took R to wrestling practice since I had our flying club meeting in town. We have a few things to work on now with the state parks to try and get permission to fly, namely at Mt Spokane which if the winds were good I could probably fly nearly home from the top.
It was about 8:30 before I was home and in the tub soaking. The boys had already been in and got out as I was going to get in. I only managed about 45 minutes since the jets pounding on my back can give me an anxious feeling like I need to be moving. That is usually my signal that I have soaked long enough.
This morning after the boys are to school I have my chiro appointment where I get the first round of decompression which I'm super looking forward to. I think I'll move my miner to the greenhouse to use as the heater, I just have to make a new length of ethernet cable to reach it but I'm betting it will warm it far better than the oil heater and heat lamp. My face is a bit sore still but much better than yesterday. I know I have a bunch of other stuff to do around the farm just not sure what will take precedence today.
