That line about not using the same safety steps for rice and soup hit me, your right that each dish needs its own plan. I dont go overboard, but I keep a little prep routine like cooling rice fast, separate boards, and labeling leftovers, my inner auditor likes that :). Washing with SAlt made me smile, it works for some things but clean water and time control do the heavy lifting most days.
