Este fin de semana fue de relajo y de disfrutar tiempo en familia, cosa que siempre intentamos hacer en nuestro poco tiempo libre y me encanta cuando nos reunimos así no haya mucho qué hacer.

This weekend was all about relaxing and enjoying family time, something we always try to do in our limited free time, and I love it when we get together even if there isn't much to do.
Normalmente solemos reunirnos con mi familia cada que podemos, esto suele ser los fines de semana que estamos libres de laburo e intentamos hacer algo, aunque no siempre tenemos para estar saliendo y demás, nos las ingeniamos para pasar un buen momento juntos.
Como esta vez que decidimos jugar un juego (valga la redundancia) llamado Stop, en Venezuela solía jugarlo mucho con mis primos y siempre nos terminábamos peleando porque en este juego hay mucha trampa. Para el que no haya escuchado de esto, se trata de un juego donde ponemos varias categorías como "nombre, apellido, país" y otras, luego cada persona por turno va diciendo una letra y debemos rellenar esas casillas con esa letra, debes ser lo más rápido posible y luego gritar "STOP" cuando termines con todo, luego van sumando los puntos y el que tenga más, obviamente, gana.

Like this time, when we decided to play a game (forgive the redundancy) called Stop. In Venezuela, I used to play it a lot with my cousins, and we always ended up fighting because there's a lot of cheating in this game. For those who haven't heard of it, it's a game where we set several categories such as “first name, last name, country,” and others. Then, each person takes turns saying a letter, and we have to fill in those boxes with that letter. You have to be as fast as possible and then shout “STOP” when you're done. Then, they add up the points, and the person with the most points wins, obviously.
Yo creería que al jugar con adultos y ser más grandes sería diferente y que sorpresa me llevo cuando notamos que Ariel (el esposo de mi mamá que está en sus 50's) estaba haciendo trampa, no lo podíamos creer, las peleas fueron peores que con mis primos cuando terminamos sumando los puntos jaja. Nos re desconocíamos.
También aprovechamos para merendar algo rico, mi mamá había hecho un brownie delicioso, pero teníamos antojos de comerlo con helado y no había, así que nos fuimos a buscar un helado y volvimos, también preparamos unas bandejas con galletas dulces y saladas, aquí comimos todos, especialmente los niños de la casa.
I thought that playing with adults would be different, but I was surprised when we noticed that Ariel (my mom's husband, who is in his 50s) was cheating. We couldn't believe it, and the fights were worse than with my cousins when we finished adding up the points, haha. We didn't recognize each other.
We also took the opportunity to have a tasty snack. My mom had made some delicious brownies, but we wanted to eat them with ice cream and there wasn't any, so we went out to get some ice cream and came back. We also prepared some trays with sweet and savory cookies, which everyone ate, especially the kids in the house.

Luego decidimos terminar la noche viendo películas, vimos Patos, que la recomiendo mucho, me hace reír un montón.
Siempre amo venir para acá y ver lo grande que están mis sobrinos gatunos (los gatos de mi hermana Alondra).
Amo a mi familia y amo estos momentos.
Then we decided to end the night watching movies. We watched Patos, which I highly recommend. It makes me laugh a lot.
I always love coming here and seeing how big my cat nephews (my sister Alondra's cats) are.
