¿Cómo estan el día de hoy? Yo super feliz de por fin contarles que logré probar las nuevas barquillas de McDonald's. Hace muy poco, en colaboración con la nueva película de los minions, McDonald's sacó una nueva barquilla que cuesta un poco más que la normal, pero está trae ciertas cosas que dan referencias a esta nueva entrega. Sin más, quiero contarles mi sincera opinión sobre esta barquilla y si la volvería a comprar o no.
How are you today? I'm super happy to finally tell you that I got to try out the new McDonald's snack bars. Very recently, in collaboration with the new minions movie, McDonald's released a new basket that costs a little more than the normal one, but it brings certain things that give references to this new installment. Without further ado, I want to tell you my honest opinion about this basket and if I would buy it again or not.
Nueva barquilla de los mininos
Para llegar al McDonald's más cercano, tuve que ir caminando junto a una amiga desde la universidad hasta ahí. No fue nada corto ni fácil, pero si vas con un amigo tienes la oportunidad de llegar más rápido, gracias a que vas hablando de diferentes temas. Cuando ya estábamos entrando, nos percatamos de que el lugar tenía un poco de decoración de esta nueva temática, lo cual me parece muy cool, tomando en cuenta que hace poco tiempo McDonald’s en Venezuela estaba prácticamente muerto.
To get to the nearest McDonald's, I had to walk there with a friend from the university. It was neither short nor easy, but if you go with a friend you have the opportunity to get there faster, thanks to the fact that you are talking about different topics. When we were already entering, we noticed that the place had a little bit of decoration of this new theme, which I think is very cool, taking into account that a short time ago McDonald's in Venezuela was practically dead.
Al entrar, pregúntanos si tenían de estas barquillas y sorprendentemente ya las tenían disponibles, lo que de una nos hizo comprarlas. Las nuevas barquillas están en 1.5, 0.50 más que las barquillas normales, ofreciendo como diferencia un cono con color y sabor diferente, y una especie de topin azul.
When we came in, we asked if they had any of these nacelles and surprisingly they already had them available, which at once made us buy them. The new nacelles are in 1.5, 0.50 more than the normal nacelles, offering as a difference a cone with a different color and flavor, and a kind of blue topin.
Mis primeras impresiones de la barquilla es que tenía colores bastante vivos, y se veía realmente muy bonita, sumándole el lindo vasito que tenía para agarrar la barquilla de los minions también.
My first impressions of the basket is that it was quite brightly colored, and it looked really very pretty, plus the cute little cup I had to hold the minion basket as well.
Bueno, me gustaría hablar un poco por separado cada sabor. El helado era totalmente normal, el de siempre muy muy bueno. El topin azul que le colocaron, era como barquilla teñida de azul con un ligero sabor a chocolate blanco; eso era lo que yo sentía. Si, me gustó, pero no me mato.
Well, I would like to talk a little separately about each flavor. The ice cream was totally normal, the usual very, very good. The blue topin they put on it, it was like blue tinted wafer with a slight white chocolate flavor; that's what I felt. Yes, I liked it, but it didn't kill me.
Por último, la barquilla, la cual realmente sí tenía un sabor diferente, pero es un pequeño cambio que podría pasar por un poco imperceptible. Esta sabía un poco más dulce de lo normal, pero tenía como una segunda capa que lo hacía saber más a maíz, muy rico, pero nada tan sorprendente.
Finally, the nacelle, which really did have a different flavor, but it is a small change that could pass for a little imperceptible. This one tasted a little sweeter than normal, but it had a second layer that made it taste more like corn, very tasty, but nothing so surprising.
Estos sabores sí me gustaron, pero en mi opinión, para pedir esto tal vez preferiría pedir un combo de papas y helado el cual te trae la barquilla normal y unas papas medianas por 2 dólares. Si es la primera vez que van a ir, sí les recomiendo probar esta nueva barquilla por no perder la experiencia, pero no sentí que fuera nada sorprendente, aunque todo muy rico.
I did like these flavors, but in my opinion, to order this I might prefer to order a combo of potatoes and ice cream which brings you the normal tray and some medium fries for 2 dollars. If it is the first time you go, I recommend you to try this new barquilla for not losing the experience, but I didn't feel it was anything surprising, although everything was very tasty.
