Good day, dear friends.

I believe this is my first time in this community, although I have been a member for a considerable amount of time. The first thing I decided to do was read the community rules. I am glad that there is no point in a mandatory photo of myself. I am a modest person and do not want to show my face. Rather, I am embarrassed. If I follow the rules, I will be glad to receive feedback. I will write in English, since I do not understand Spanish.

Today I will show you the recipe for Grated Pie. I also love to bake pastries. My son loves homemade pastries and constantly asks me to bake something for him.

This year I bake Grated Pie more often. Because it is easy to bake, the ingredients are available, and you don't need to make different cookies; fold one layer of dough, fill it, and grate the other half of the pie. That is why I love to bake it, because I put less effort into its creation.

You will need:
600 g flour (3 cups)
200 g sugar (1 cup)
2 eggs
1 tablespoon sunflower oil
1/3 teaspoon salt
0.5 teaspoon soda (or 1 teaspoon baking powder)
20 g vanilla sugar (one packet)
500 g jam. You can use any fruit with sugar.

I did not take a separate photo of the ingredients, but I will show that I worked.
To do this, I mix the eggs first with sugar, and then with all the ingredients. I rub the butter or margarine on a large grater.

Knead the dough, adding all the flour, and the dough should turn out soft.

Put one half of the dough in the refrigerator, and spread the other half on a baking sheet.

I put canned cherry jam and walnuts on the dough.

On top of the prepared pie, grate the dough from the refrigerator on a coarse grater.

It turns out like an anthill. I also added walnuts and put them in the oven. Since it is cold here in winter, they kept our house warm. It is hot now, so I rarely bake, although I baked this pie the other day.

It should stand in the oven until golden brown and until the bottom crust is ready. We check with a skewer. If the dough does not stick to the skewer, the pie is ready.

You need to cut it into pieces immediately after taking it out of the oven, because if it cools down, it can crumble. Therefore, I immediately cut it into portions.
