May was such a tasty month for me. I tried so many yummy foods during the weekdays, and I just have to share them with you! From spicy Korean food to sweet cakes and juicy burgers, every day felt like a food party. 🤤🎉
Let me take you on a foodie tour of what I ate during my weekdays in May. Maybe it’ll make you hungry (sorry in advance 😅), but I hope it also gives you some ideas for your next meal!
I started my week with something super yummy –Samgyupsal! This is Korean grilled pork belly. You cook the meat right in front of you, then wrap it in lettuce with garlic, rice, and sauce. It’s crunchy, juicy, and fun to eat! I even made little meat wraps that looked like tiny food presents.
I drank some iced tea with it – cold and sweet, just perfect for a hot day. Monday was a great start to the week!
Anotther day, I felt like eating something fast and fun. So I went for sundae – no, not the ice cream! This is a Korean street food made from noodles inside sausage. It might sound a bit strange, but it’s chewy, salty, and very tasty. I also had some fried pork on the side, and wow, it was crispy and golden!
It made me feel like I was walking through a busy food market in Korea. Delicious and exciting!
Who doesn’t love a good burger? I had the biggest burger I’ve ever eaten. The bun was soft, the beef patty was thick, and it had cheese, lettuce, and even a fried egg. I had to squish it down just to take a bite!
Burgers are simple, but they never get old. I also had more iced tea to wash it down. So refreshing!
Thursday was all about noodless. I had a big bowl of spicy Korean noodles with bits of meat, veggies, and eggs. It was super hot (like fire!) but really tasty. Slurping the noodles was half the fun. 🔥
Noodles are one of my favorite things ever. You can eat them in so many ways – spicy, sweet, or even cold. This one made me sweat, but it was worth it!
I always like to treat myself at the end of the week. So on Friday, I got a slice of cake –fluffy, creamy, and sweet. The top had little fruit pieces and sprinkles that made it look like a birthday cake (even though it wasn’t my birthday 😄).
Eating cake on a Friday felt like a mini celebration. I smiled with every bite.
Bonus Eats: Rice, Steak, and More! 🍚🥩
Of course, I had lots of other food too during the month! I ate warm bowls ofrice almost every day. Rice goes with everything – it’s like the best food friend.
I also had some tasty steak one evening – juicy and soft, with a little bit of gravy on top. It was so good, I didn’t want it to end!
Why I Love Sharing My Food?
Food makes me happy, and sharing it with you makes me even happier! 😊 Every dish I tried in May had a story. Sometimes I ate alone, sometimes with friends or family. Sometimes I was super hungry, and sometimes I just wanted to try something new.
