Trying things is really not my thing, especially when it comes to foods. Hmmm, I say, I am afraid to try new foods, and I'd rather get the one I already know, where I know my money will go to something good? And deep inside, I can never taste those new foods anyway because I already lost my sense of smell and taste, so, yeah, I'd rather just get those foods I am familiar with. But you know, there are really times that curiosity is so intense that we have to give in to answer that curiosity. And what I'm going to share today is that one thing I am really curious about because I once saw a post about that here on Hive. This is really not a healthy food, but we can try it sometimes, yeah? And I am definitely not promoting it, but I recommend it because I and my family enjoy it. I am curious if my Malaysian and Indonesian Hive friend here knows about this pasta.

The first instant spaghetti I tried was from curly spaghetti. I already tried that "instant spaghetti" from Lucky Me but that's already been a long time. Seriously, I didn't like them that much and only tried them once. But I still tried the mac and cheese and the baked mac style of Lucky Me and that's the first and last time that I tried them. Lol. And really, nothing can still beat the homemade one, but this instant pasta I think is good for those who likes it of course. They are also good to have if you are boarding alone and doesn't have much time to cook. Though eating this every day for sure is bad so eating it in moderation is a reminder that we all have to remember.

Anyway, I'll be sharing a different instant spaghetti today, it's from a different brand. It is new I think because they are not available yet in some grocery store here in our town. We bought this in PureGold in Pinamalayan and I think that's the only place it is available. It is not known yet in our small town I think. I remember reading about this particular instant spaghetti here on Hive and I thought it is a brand from other country. Yes it is, and I just discovered that it is available here in the Philippines. It is made in Indonesia and Malaysia by the way.

And seriously, when I saw this in Puregold I can't help but get curious to it so I bought 4 pack of it, one for me, one for mama and two for the oldies. I want it to eat it with them. So white shopping, Mommy D saw me getting it and I told her that I know the brand and that I want to try it, so she also got two of it. And I thought this is expensive but no, it cost us 15.60 pesos only. Really affordable no?

So anyway as you can see I am preparing twi pack if this pasta. Here's what's inside and one thing I love Is that each pack has instruction so at least cooking it is much easier. One pack has "real" sausage, according to the packaging, there's a pack too for the sauce and one pack for seasoning powder which I think is the cheese with milk? I'm not really sure because I can't smell it. Lol - then there's the pasta.

Let's start cooking!
According to the packaging, this can be ready in 3 minutes. Let's see-
I first boil some water, used a wok, a pan or whatever you prefer to cook it. As for how many cups, just enough water to soak all the pasta.

We'll boil the tint sausages together with the pasta because it's so "matigas" pa. And saying that it could be cook in 3 minutes, that's actually not enough. Because the pasta is still hard so I cook it for another one and half minute. So that took 4 minutes and half 30 seconds.

And its done! Time to mix the seasonings and the sauce. This will easy now

This is the seasoning, the white powder. I think this is what's making the whole thing really creamy and delicious. Mommy D said it taste really cheesy so I guess that really a cheese. As for the sauce, that's how it looks -but why i was reminded on my period, you know menstruation and blood ( ꈍᴗꈍ), OMG! Nevermind that. Lol

And so I mix it and I know it looks really nessy but I don't really want to clean the sauce on the edge because it is sayang, that's a sauce you know, man I will not waste that. I won't let a tissue slurp that sauce! Lol
By the way we had this in the morning with bread, oh yeah, carbs plus carbs. Lol. But it taste good with bread and with that, we enjoy it more ♪ \(^ω^\ )
