Good morning. 🌞 What a sunny morning it has been. It's too early but right now, I' m with my daughter and niece. Since the school will begin in June, we went to school to enroll. My daughter excited to go back. She is always bored at home. My niece is excited to finally experience a college life.
After their enrollment, we went to a nearby cafeteria to eat breakfast. It is sunny but we can still feel like the breeze of the dawn because the atmosphere is cold. Yet, they still order a Halo-Halo. It is their favourite because it is topped with an icecream. They also ordered a cheese French fries and footlong sandwhich. They choose it more than rice.
The fries can be dipped into a ketchup and it's yummy. I would rate it into 10 out of 10. Not everybody loves banana ketchup. For me, the cheese powder flavor is enough. But in the Philippines, we dip it on the red sauce. Some people choose a flavorful spicy ketchup. Personally, I can't deal with spicy. The sandwhich just tasted typical. If I would rate it, it's 7 out of 10.
The halo-halo tastes good too because we can't feel the presence of ice on it. It is common to add ice cubes on this specialty and many restaurants put more ice than the other ingredients. It's like we're eating an ice, not the icecream, corn, jackfruit and etc. But this is the halo-halo that I'm looking for because while we taste it, there is a creaminess, sweetness and the juicy mixtures of different fruits combines together in one cup so my rating for this is 10 out of 10. I felt the fresh and shredded young coconut, the crunch of corn flakes and the slimy jelly into my mouth.
The burger tastes average. They just fill the cheesy burger with mayonnaise and it's just an ordinary burger just like what we make at home. Even a child can make it. I'm gonna rate this burget 5 out 10. There is no even a little vegetable added. However, it has a reasonable costs at 35 pesos.
