Assalam-o-Alaikum friends!
I hope you are all doing well. Today I am sharing a delicious Keema Aalu recipe that I recently prepared at home. This dish is simple to make and uses ingredients that are commonly available in most kitchens. The combination of keema, potatoes, tomatoes, garlic, and fresh herbs makes it rich in flavor and very satisfying. It can be enjoyed for lunch or dinner and tastes wonderful with fresh naan and salad.
Ingredients
1 kg keema (minced meat)
4 to 5 potatoes
4 to 5 tomatoes
1 whole garlic bulb
2 onions, finely chopped
3 to 4 green chilies
Fresh coriander leaves
Gandhna (green garlic)
1 cup cooking oil
1 tablespoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
Salt according to taste

Preparation Method
First, heat the oil in a pressure cooker. When the oil becomes hot, add the keema. Cook it on medium heat and keep stirring. After a few minutes, the keema will change its color and start releasing water. Continue cooking until most of the water dries.

Now add the chopped onions to the keema. Mix well and cook for a few minutes. Keep cooking until the onions become soft and their raw smell goes away.
Now take a whole garlic bulb, peel all the cloves, and grate them. Add the grated garlic to the cooker and fry it together with the keema and onions. Cook for a few minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant

After that, add all the spices. Add salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder. Mix everything well so the spices spread evenly in the keema. Cook for a few minutes while stirring.
Wash the tomatoes and blend them into a smooth paste. Add the tomato paste to the cooker. Mix well and cook on medium heat. Keep stirring from time to time. Cook until the tomatoes become soft and the oil starts coming to the top. This step makes the curry rich and tasty

Now peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces. Add the potatoes to the keema mixture and stir well. The potatoes should be covered with the masala.
Close the pressure cooker and cook for about 5 to 10 minutes. After the pressure is released, carefully open the lid. Check the potatoes with a spoon. They should be soft and fully cooked.

Finally, add the chopped green chilies, fresh coriander leaves, and gandhna. Cover the cooker for a few minutes. The heat will help the fresh herbs give more flavor to the dish.
Your delicious homemade Keema Aalu is now ready. Serve it hot in a dish with fresh naan and salad. The soft potatoes, flavorful keema, and fresh herbs make this meal very enjoyable.

I served this Keema Aalu with naan, cucumber, and tomato salad. It was a simple and satisfying meal for the whole family.
