Chicken Manchurian with White Rice
Hi everyone, how are you all? I hope you are all fine and enjoying your life. I am also doing well. Sometimes, we really crave Chinese food. Even though we are Pakistani, we still love Chinese food very much. Chinese dishes have a different taste, and many people enjoy eating them. Today, I was also craving Chinese food, so I decided to make Chicken Manchurian. But I made it in my own simple style with the ingredients that were available at home. I did not have many special things, but still, the taste turned out very good. I made it with white rice because Chicken Manchurian tastes very delicious with rice.

Ingredients

Chicken
Capsicum (Shimla Mirch)
Onion
Ketchup
Soy sauce
Corn flour
Salt
Red chili powder
Black pepper
Turmeric powder
1 Egg
Flour (Maida)
Garlic powder

Preparation

First, I washed the chicken and cut it into small cubes. Then I cut the onion and capsicum into thick pieces.

After that, I took a bowl and added flour, egg, garlic powder, and all the spices. I mixed everything well and added the chicken to it. Then I left it for about one hour so the chicken could absorb all the flavors.

Cooking Method

After one hour, I heated one cup of oil in a pan. When the oil became hot, I added the marinated chicken and cooked it on medium flame. This helps the chicken cook well from the inside.

When the chicken became golden brown, I took it out.
In the same oil, I added onion and capsicum. If you want, you can also add vegetables like carrots, green onions, or zucchini. I only had onion and capsicum at home, so I used only these two vegetables. I lightly fried them and removed them from the pan.

Then I removed extra oil and left only a little in the pan. After that, I added the fried chicken and vegetables again. Then I added ketchup, soy sauce, and corn flour. I cooked everything for a few minutes until the sauce became thick.

White Rice

Chicken Manchurian tastes best with white rice. To make rice, I added enough water to cover the rice. Then I added salt and a little oil and let it boil. When the water dried, I kept the rice on low heat for some time.

Finally, my delicious homemade Chicken Manchurian with white rice was ready. My family liked it very much, and we all enjoyed eating it together.

Homemade food always feels more tasty and special.
