So first I peeled the potatoes and then cut them into sticks shape.
Now I added ground spices including salt, ground red chilies, turmeric and chili flakes and mixed the spices well.

Now I added cumin, carom seeds and chaat masala to it and mixed it and left it for some time so that the spices released their water.
After some time, when the potatoes released their water, I added rice flour to it and mixed it gently, that is, with soft hands.

Now it was time to fry it, so I poured cooking oil into a pan and when it was hot, I put the potato sticks in it.
When they turned brown, I took them out on a plate with the help of a sieve.

Light, well-seasoned, and beautifully textured, they offer a warm, savory flavor that feels both comforting and satisfying.
Simple ingredients, perfectly transformed into a delightful homemade snack.
Final Look:
Golden and irresistibly crispy, these rice flour–crusted potato sticks deliver the perfect crunch with every bite.

After cooking for some time, I added sugar to it and cooked it further.
It has to be cooked until it becomes thick.

Smooth in texture, tangy, and perfectly balanced, this homemade tamarind sauce brings a bold sweet-and-sour flavor with a gentle kick of spices.
Now let's see the final look pictures where I have served the potato sticks with tamarind sauce.
