Hi bloggers and food lovers, how are you all doing? Today I’m going to share an easy, simple, and healthy recipe—it’s not fried, similar to cawan mushi but not quite as smooth and this post is my entry for Qurator's: Hive Top Chef! this week hosted by @qurator. Just mix everything together and steam it. This dish is packed with protein thanks to the tofu, eggs, and shrimp. These measurements are for 2 servings. Okay, let’s get started
Ingredients:
- 1 block of silken tofu
- 2 eggs
- 150 ml water
- 2 shrimp
- a pinch of pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbs soy sauce
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- a sprinkle of chili flakes
- seaweed strips
Steps:

- Prepare the silken tofu and cut it into pieces like this

- Place the tofu in a heat-resistant container

- Crack the eggs into a bowl

- Add salt to the bowl

- Add water to the eggs

Whisk the eggs and water until well combined
Skim off any foam from the egg mixture

- Pour the egg mixture over the tofu until the tofu is completely submerged

- Make sure there are no foam or bubbles on the surface of the egg mixture, then place the tofu and egg mixture in a steamer

- Steam until the eggs are cooked through, about 10 minutes

- After 10 minutes, add the seasoned shrimp with pepper and salt on top

Steam again for 20 minutes until the shrimp are cooked
Remove and let cool briefly

- Drizzle soy sauce over the steamed tofu, egg, and shrimp

- Add seewed/nori strips

- Add 1 tbsp of hot cooking oil for each steamed tofu

- Sprinkle sesame seeds and chili powder on top

- Steamed Egg with Tofu and Shrimp dish is ready to serve
