Simple Snack: Corn Fritters

in Hive Foodyesterday

Hi bloggers and food lovers, today I'm going to share an easy and delicious snack recipe, one of my family's favorite fried foods. Since we have a lot of corn at home, I decided to turn it into a savory snack.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ears of corn, shelled
  • 8 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • 8 tablespoons of fritters flour
  • salt
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of mushroom powder
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 spring onion
  • 2 red chilies
  • 200 ml of water
  • vegetable oil

Steps:

  • Put the shelled and washed corn into a container/bowl.

  • Add the fritters flour, all-purpose flour, salt, pepper, mushroom powder, and minced garlic.

  • Add water until the consistency is thick like this.

  • Add the finely chopped spring onion.

  • Stir the batter.

  • Add thinly sliced red chili peppers to the mixture.

  • Stir until well combined.

  • Heat oil in a pan.

  • Scoop the batter into the pan, spreading it out flat, and cook over medium-low heat until done.

  • Once golden brown, remove and drain the fritters.

  • Repeat until all the batter is used up.

  • The corn fritters are ready to serve.
