Hi, bloggers! Have you had lunch yet? Today, I'm going to tell you about my experience at a Japanese restaurant called Sushi Mentai. It's one of the most popular restaurants in my area. They have a unique concept where they use a conveyor belt to serve sushi. You can choose the sushi directly from the belt. The prices are quite affordable.
The sushi is made to order and is still fresh. There are three types of plates that differentiate the prices.
Yellow plate: 10,000 rupiah ($0.60)
Red plate: 13,000 rupiah ($0.8)
Blue plate: 15,000 rupiah (about $0.90)
They have many variations of sushi. My first choices were the Cheese Ebi Fry, Inari Ebi Mentai Maki, and Inari Tempura.
My first plate : Cheese Ebi Fry
a rice roll wrapped in nori, filled with fried shrimp, and topped with cheese slices. Delicious!
Next : Inari Ebi Mentai Maki
Rice rolls filled with deep fried shrimp, nori and topped with inari beancurd skin/tofu skin and mentai sauce.
Inari Tuna Kani
Rice in inari beancurd skin/tofu skin with tuna mayo
Tempura Prawn Sushi Roll with Chicken Floss
The conveyor belt continues to run.
And it went to the yellow plate.
Tamago Mentai
Rice rolls with japanese omelette, nori, and mentai sauce. Common sushi.
And for the blue plate, I have two :
Hana Ebiko Sushi
Classic sushi with salmon and tobiko.
Hana Sushi Salmon
Rice roll wrapped with torched salmon and topped with spicy mentai sauce and tobiko.
For sharing, we had Takoyaki and Spicy Ramen, it's good and yummy.
And of course sashimi for sure. It's not complete japanese food without this popular menu. But it's not my favorite i only had 1 slice.
Soy sauce and chili powder are available on the table. You can take wasabi from the conveyor belt.
Okay thank you for today, it's a fun experience, live cooking and choose your favorite. Good food = Good mood! 😀
