
Hello Foodie Bloggers, today we will make asian super crispy savory food, which is also known as Samosa in our region, especially in Pakistan and India. It is served with different sauces and also eaten alone. Without wasting our time lets get to the recipe for our international communities so that they can enjoy this amazing food at their home by making it fresh and neat.
Ingredients:
FOR CRISPY SAVORY
- All-purpose flour 2 cups
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Salt for taste
- water
- 3 Boiled potatoes 1 cup
- Crushed Green chillis, half a tsp
- Turmeric powder, half a tsp
- Dry Corriander 1 tsp
- Salt for Taste
- Oil 1 tbsp
METHOd:
- Mix flour, salt, and oil.
- Pour water little by little and knead the dough until tight.
- Cover the dough for 20 minutes and set for rest.
- Heat the oil in a pan.
- Add crushed chilli and all spices along with boiled potatoes and mix.
- Mix until the potato is mashed 80 percent.
- Let it cool down.
- Make small balls of dough.
- Roll the dough balls and give them an oval shape.
- Cut an oval into two halves.
- Make one half of the cone and fill it with the mixture.
- Close the edges with the help of water.
- Heat oil in a deep pan on medium flame.
- Fry the savory in deep oil on medium flame.
- Fry until a golden brown color appears.
- Take them out and serve with the sauces as described below
SAUCES:
- Chickpea Gravy:
- Heat the pan and add oil.
- Add ginger garlic paste.
- Add boiled chickpea and spices.
- Cook for 5 minutes and add water for gravy.
- Now serve.
- Green Sauce:
- Take the blender and add fresh green coriander, small green chilli, one cup of yogurt, lemon juice, and salt to taste.
- Blend them until a thick sauce is ready.
- Add extra yogurt at the end for thickness.
- Now serve.
- Sweet-Sour Sauce:
- Heat the pan and add Tamarind pulp, jaggery or sugar, salt, red chilli powder, and cumin seeds powder.
- Heat at low flame until a thick sauce is made.
- Cool the sauce and serve now.
