Yeah, we have bindi currency made in similar way... except... we make it Sount indian style kind. Oil... mustard, they splutter, then add chana dal and urad dal...stir fry till brown, can put red chillis too... then onions, tomatos... fry till mushy put some hing and sambar powder...
add water... and after some time add fried ladies fingers.... I let them cook for 30 to 45 minutes...
