Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Chicken – 500g
Yogurt – 3 tbsp
Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric – ½ tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
Garam Masala – ½ tsp
Salt – to taste
Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp
Cornflour – 2 tbsp
All-Purpose Flour (Maida) – 2 tbsp
Oil – for frying
Process
I washed the chicken thoroughly. Then I added yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin, garam masala, salt, and lemon juice, and mixed everything well.
After that, I let it marinate for at least 1–2 hours (for best results, I kept it in the fridge).
After marinating,
I heated oil in a pan. On medium flame, I fried the chicken until it turned golden brown. I cooked it well from all sides so that it stayed soft and juicy from the inside.

When the chicken turned brown, I lowered the flame and lit a piece of coal, then placed it inside the pan so it gives a BBQ-like aroma.
After that, I sprinkled a little chaat masala on top and squeezed some lemon over it.

Final Look: This Spicy Desi Style Chicken Fry is a perfect blend of flavors and aromas, where tender, juicy chicken pieces are coated in a rich mix of yogurt, spices, and a hint of lemon.
Pan-fried to a golden brown and finished with a smoky BBQ aroma, every bite is soft, flavorful, and full of warmth. A final sprinkle of chaat masala and a squeeze of fresh lemon elevate the dish, making it irresistibly savory and satisfying.
