You haven't tried spaghetti with pesto sauce? it's made with basil, olive oil and garlic. The original recipe has olives, but I prefer it without.
I didn't know about the onion cream, although in my country they make an onion soup with meat or chicken broth, caramelized onion cut into rounds, bread cubes and parmesan cheese.
