Brasil jugaba en el mundial, y como mi novio es un gran fanático de ese equipo, incluso se compró una camisa del equipo jeje, decidimos aprovechar la ocasión para hacer algo especial juntos y ver el juego en pantalla gigante. Pensamos que, sería genial combinar la pasión por el fútbol con una cita. Así que, fuimos al restaurante De la Costa, ubicado en la hermosa ciudad de Cumaná, en el Estado Sucre, Venezuela.

What a weekend! Brazil was playing in the World Cup, and since my boyfriend is a huge fan of that team—he even bought a team jersey, haha—we decided to take advantage of the occasion to do something special together and watch the game on a giant screen. We thought it would be great to combine our passion for soccer with a date. So, we went to the De la Costa restaurant, located in the beautiful city of Cumaná, in the state of Sucre, Venezuela.
Ya hemos ido en varias oportunidades a este restaurante, y la verdad nos gusta mucho la vibra qué transmite el local, me encantan las luces dispuestas en el techo, porque crean un ambiente relajante y bastante romántico para los que van en pareja. Así mismo, fuimos en una cita de 4, pues unos amigos de mi novio fueron los que nos invitaron, y mientras ellos veían su juego, nosotras las chicas conversábamos de todo un poco.
We've been to this restaurant several times, and we really like the vibe it has. I love the lights on the ceiling because they create a relaxing and quite romantic atmosphere for couples. We went on a date with four people; some of my boyfriend's friends invited us, and while they watched their game, we girls chatted about everything.
Vale destacar que, la comida allí me parece un poco costosa en comparación con otros restaurantes, sin embargo, la atención fue simplemente genial, algo que se agradece muchísimo cuando vas a probar algo diferente y quieres que todo salga perfecto.
It's worth noting that the food there seems a bit expensive compared to other restaurants; however, the service was simply great, something that is greatly appreciated when you're going to try something different and want everything to be perfect.
Para aprovechar el momento distinto a lo que estoy acostumbrada, me pedí un combo de sushi "alaska roll", si mal no recuerdo. Estaba muy rico, me gustó bastante la ensalada de salmón qué tenía como topping, fue el toque más especial del plato, a mi parecer.
To take advantage of the unusual situation, I ordered an Alaska roll sushi combo, if I remember correctly. It was delicious; I especially liked the salmon salad topping—it was the most special touch of the dish, in my opinion.
En este tipo de restaurantes, siempre me gusta aventurarme y pedir cosas diferentes a lo que normalmente estoy acostumbrada. Me encanta elegir platos que tengan comida de mar, sushi o cualquier especialidad que se salga de mi rutina habitual. Siento que el valor de la experiencia lo vale totalmente, porque no solo disfruto de sabores frescos y únicos, sino que también le doy a mi paladar la oportunidad de descubrir nuevas sensaciones. Además, probar platos nuevos me hace sentir que estoy aprovechando al máximo la ocasión, convirtiendo la visita en algo especial.
In these kinds of restaurants, I always like to be adventurous and order things that are different from what I'm used to. I love choosing dishes with seafood, sushi, or any specialty that's outside my usual routine. I feel the experience is totally worth it because I not only enjoy fresh and unique flavors, but I also give my palate the chance to discover new sensations. Plus, trying new dishes makes me feel like I'm making the most of the occasion, turning the visit into something special.
Me sentí muy feliz de haberme animado a probar algo distinto. A veces, pagar un poco más por una comida deliciosa y bien preparada vale totalmente la pena. ¡Espero volver pronto, cuando pueda económicamente ir, jeje! Saludos.
I was so glad I decided to try something different. Sometimes, paying a little more for a delicious and well-prepared meal is totally worth it. I hope to return soon, when I can afford it, haha! Cheers.
