Hello, how are you? Now that rainy days have started again, I always crave soupy food, and a few days ago my mom went to the market to buy vegetables, so I was praying that she would buy the vegetables that I am going to pair with the recipe I am planning to cook, and of course she bought them. Yey!
So today I am going to cook Chicken Tinola, which is my comfort food when the weather is cold and gloomy.
Ingredients I Used:
Ingredients I Used:

- 1 tbsp. Cooking Oil
- Garlic
- Red Onion
- Ginger
- Chicken
- Ground Pepper
- 2 tbsp.Fish Sauce
- 1 1/2l Hot Water
- Chicken Broth Cube
- Sayote
- Malunggay Leaves
Let's Cook!
Let's Cook!

In a pot, I add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, and then I add garlic, red onion, and ginger, sautee them until the aroma comes out.

Add the chicken. I like to cook it until the color changes or when some part of it is browning, and then I add about half a teaspoon of ground pepper.

Cook it until the color of the chicken changes.

Add two tablespoons of fish sauce and let it seep into the chicken for about a minute.

Add 1 1/2 litres of hot water. This way, the chicken will cook faster.

When the water starts boiling, I am going to add a chicken broth cube. Let it cook for 20 minutes.

After that, I added sayote and cooked it for 5-8 minutes.

To make it healthier. I am going to add malunggay leaves.

Cook it for about a minute.

I suggest eating it after cooking.

Happy eating! :D
