RECIPE: stewed chicken with carrot, potatoes and zucchini (ENG-ESP)

  • Good evening friends of hivefood, I hope you are having a wonderful week... This time I will explain how to prepare a delicious and healthy "stewed chicken with carrot, potatoes and zucchini". This recipe is very versatile, you can complement it with countless contours, in my case accompany with: boiled plantains... Let's put on the apron to start our fun process!
  • Buenas noches amigos de hivefood, espero que estén pasando una maravillosa semana… En esta ocasión les explicaré cómo preparar un delicioso y saludable “pollo guisado con zanahoria, patatas y calabacín”. Esta receta es muy versátil, la pueden complementar con infinidad de contornos, en mi caso acompañe con: plátanos sancochados... Pongámonos el delantal para empezar nuestro divertido proceso!

  • INGREDIENTS: carrots, potatoes, zucchini, sweet peppers, onion, chicken breast, soy sauce, sweet paprika, cumin, fine herbs, curry and salt.
  • INGREDIENTES: zanahoria, patatas, calabacín, ajíes dulces, cebolla, pechuga de pollo, salsa de soja, pimentón dulce, comino, finas hierbas, curry y sal.

  • Cut the chicken breast into cubes, season with: pepper, fine herbs, cumin, sweet paprika, curry and salt.
    Add 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil to a non-stick frying pan, fry until the chicken is ready and has taken a slightly golden texture.
  • Cortamos la pechuga de pollo en cubos, sazonamos con: pimienta, finas hierbas, comino, pimentón dulce, curry y sal.
    Incorporamos 1 cucharada de aceite de girasol a un sartén antiadherente, sofreímos hasta que el pollo esté listo y haya tomado una textura ligeramente dorada.

  • Add the onions and sweet peppers, cut into juliennes... sauté for 3 minutes (salt and pepper).
  • Añadimos las cebollas y los ajíes dulces, cortamos en julianas... salteamos durante 3 minutos (salpimentamos).

  • We integrate the potatoes, along with the carrot and zucchini, we cut into "half-moons".
    We add the soy sauce, along with 1/2 cup of water. We integrate the curry, adjust the salt point. We cover, cook over "medium-low" heat for 25 minutes or until you check that our preparation is ready.
  • Integramos las patatas, junto con la zanahoria y el calabacín, cortamos en “medias- lunas”.
    Añadimos la salsa de soja, junto con 1/2 taza de agua. Integramos el curry, ajustamos el punto de sal. Tapamos, cocinamos a fuego “medio-bajo” durante 25 minutos o hasta comprobar que nuestra preparación está lista.
