  • Good evening, dear hivers, I hope you're feeling great! Today, I'm sharing with you the process of the appetizing dish I prepared for lunch with my family. Below, I'll explain how to make a "delicious chicken soup with rice and vegetables". This recipe has all the benefits and nutrients you'll enjoy as a single dish.   • Buenas noches queridos hivers, espero se encuentren genial! Hoy, comparto con ustedes el proceso del apetitoso platillo que preparé para almorzar en familia... A continuación, les explico como realizar una "deliciosa sopa de pollo con arroz y vegetales". Ésta receta posee todos los beneficios y nutrientes para disfrutar como "plato único", espero disfruten el proceso de esta exquisitez, empecemos!

  • INGREDIENTS: carrots, pumpkin, spring onion, potatoes, rice (raw), chicken breast, fresh coriander, pepper and chicken cube.
  • INGREDIENTES: zanahorias, calabaza, cebollín, patatas, arroz (crudo), pechuga de pollo, cilantro fresco, pimienta y pastilla de caldo de pollo.

PREPARATION/PREPARACIÓN

  • Add the chicken breast to a deep pot, along with 2 liters of water. If you feel you need more water during the cooking process, you can do so in small amounts. To give our broth a rich, rich flavor, add the scallions. Cook until the chicken is ready; in my case, it took 35 minutes. Shred the chicken and set aside for use in the final step.
  • Agregamos a una olla honda la pechuga de pollo, junto con 2 litros de agua... Si durante el proceso de cocción consideran que deben colocar más agua, pueden hacerlo con pequeños toques. Para que nuestro caldo tome un sabor muy sabroso y sustancioso, vamos a colocar los tallos del cebollín. Cocinamos hasta comprobar que el pollo está listo, en mi caso tardó 35 minutos en cocinarse. Desmechamos, reservamos para utilizar en el paso final.

  • We add the finely chopped green and white parts of the scallions... We add our colorful "carrot", cut into julienne strips.
  • Incorporamos la parte verde y blanca del cebollín, finamente cortado... Añadimos nuestra colorida "zanahoria", cortamos en "julianas".

  • Next, we add the "rice"... this ingredient will provide a VERY succulent consistency!
  • A continuación, colocamos el "arroz"... este ingrediente aportará una consistencia MUY suculenta!

  • When the rice has taken on a "semi-soft" texture, we add the potatoes, along with the pumpkin.
  • Cuando el arroz haya tomado una textura "semi-blanda", incorporamos las patatas, junto con la calabaza.

  • We add the chicken we had reserved... The last ingredient we will integrate will be the coriander. We mix, cook over low heat for 3 minutes and turn off the heat.
  • Agregamos el pollo que teníamos reservado... El último ingrediente que vamos a integrar será el cilantro, Mezclamos, cocinamos a fuego "bajo" durante 3 minutos y apagamos.

Using the scallion stalks to build the broth is such a smart move, it gives a gentle oniony depth without taking over. I also like how the rice goes in before the potatoes and pumpkin so it can thicken the soup on its own. Do you rinse the rice first or drop it straight in?
