(ENG-ESP) RECIPE: Exquisite cannelloni with ground beef and cheese

Hoy, comparto con ustedes el exquisito platillo que preparé para almorzar en compañía de mi familia, a continuación les explico como realizar unos "deliciosos canelones con carne molida y queso"...   • INGREDIENTS: ripe tomatoes, green bell pepper, onion, ground beef (cooked), yellow cheese, Parmesan cheese, Neapolitan sauce, pepper, dried oregano, cumin, garlic powder and cannelloni.
  • INGREDIENTES: tomates maduros, pimiento verde, cebolla, carne molida (cocida), queso amarillo, queso parmesano, salsa napolitana, pimienta, orégano seco, comino, ajo en polvo y canelones.

PREPARATION/PREPARACIÓN

  • Sauté the onion over medium heat. When it has softened, add the bell pepper (preferably green). Sauté for 3 minutes. Add the ripe tomatoes (remove the seeds), season with pepper, garlic powder, dried oregano, cumin, and salt. Add a touch of water and cook until the vegetables soften slightly.
  • Sofreímos a fuego "medio" la cebolla, cuando haya tomado una textura cristalina, incorporamos el pimiento (preferiblemente verde). Salteamos durante 3 minutos... Agregamos los tomates maduros (extraemos las semillas), condimentamos con: pimienta, ajo en polvo, orégano seco, comino y sal, colocamos un toquesito de agua, cocinamos hasta que las verduras se ablanden un poco.

  • Next, we add the ground beef we had reserved and sauté for 5 minutes.
  • A continuación, agregamos la carne molida que teníamos reservada, salteamos durante 5 minutos.

  • Grease the bottom of a baking dish... To make this recipe, I used the "baked cannelloni" recipe; it's easier and more practical, as it doesn't require pre-boiling. Fill our succulent cannelloni and cover with the Neapolitan sauce. Add the yellow cheese. To bake, cover with aluminum foil and cook at 180°C for 40 minutes. Then, remove the foil and finish cooking for 10 more minutes.
  • Enmantequillamos el fondo de un envase refractario... Para realizar esta receta utilicé la presentación de "canelones directos al horno", es una forma más fácil y práctica, ya que no es necesario hervir previamente. Rellenamos nuestros suculentos canelones, cubrimos con la salsa napolitana. Incorporamos queso amarillo, para hornear tapamos con papel de aluminio, cocinamos a 180º durante 40 minutos, luego quitamos el papel de aluminio y terminamos de cocinar por 10 minutos más.

  • This is how delicious our cannelloni turned out... We remove the aluminum foil, add the Parmesan cheese, and finish cooking for 10 more minutes.
  • Así de apetitosos quedaron nuestros canelones... Extraemos el papel de aluminio, colocamos el queso parmesano, para terminar de cocinar por 10 minutos más.

Cannelloni are always good especially on Sunday, when I was a child my grandmother cooked them every Sunday but she usually make vegetarian cannelloni with ricotta and spinachs or herbs with meat are even more good 👍
