  • Good evening, hivers! I hope you're having a wonderful and productive week. Next, I'll explain how to prepare some "delicious black beans with smoked pork chop". You can complement them with countless side dishes; in my case, I served them with steamed rice and fried plantains... Let's put on our aprons and make this exquisite dish!
  • Buenas noches hivers, espero que estén pasando una semana muy hermosa y productiva. A continuación, les explicaré como preparar unas "deliciosas caraotas negras con chuleta ahumada", pueden complementar con infinidad de contornos, en mi caso acompañé con: arroz al vapor y plátanos fritos... Pongámonos el delantal para realizar esta exquisitez!

  • INGREDIENTS: red peppers, onion, sweet peppers, scallions, garlic cloves (crushed), smoked pork chop, cumin, pepper, sunflower oil for frying, black beans and salt.
  • INGREDIENTES: pimientos rojos, cebolla, ajies dulces, cebollín, dientes de ajo (triturados), chuleta ahumada, comino, pimienta, aceite de girasol para sofreír, caraotas negras y sal.

  • To make this recipe, I used 400 grams of black beans... Add 2 liters of water to a deep pot and cook over high heat. If you need to add more water during cooking, you can do so. Next, we'll make our delicious sofrito, which will be the main base for enjoying a very tasty and succulent flavor! Add sunflower oil to a non-stick frying pan and sauté the onion, along with the garlic cloves, the spring onion and the smoked pork chop.
  • Para realizar esta receta utilicé 400 gr de caraotas... incorporamos a una olla honda 2 litros de agua, cocinamos a fuego "alto", si durante el proceso de cocción consideran que deben añadir más agua pueden hacerlo... A continuación, vamos a realizar nuestro apetitoso sofrito, que será la base principal para disfrutar de un sabor MUY sabroso y suculento! Incorporamos aceite de girasol a un sartén antiadherente, sofreímos la cebolla, junto con los dientes de ajo, el cebollín y la chuleta ahumada.

  • Add the bell pepper; for this recipe, I prefer to use red bell pepper for its slightly sweet contrast. Season with pepper, cumin, and salt.
    Sauté until the vegetables become translucent. Set aside for the final step.
  • Añadimos el pimiento, para esta receta prefiero utilizar pimiento rojo, por su contraste ligeramente dulzón... En este paso aliñamos con: pimienta, comino y sal.
    Salteamos hasta que las verduras tomen una consistencia cristalina. Reservamos para utilizar en el paso final.

  • Once the black beans are semi-soft, add the reserved sofrito. Cook over medium heat until they are completely soft. At this stage, you can adjust the salt. I love adding a touch of sugar; it's optional, but it's fantastic!
  • Cuando comprobemos que las caraotas están "semi-blandas", incorporamos el sofrito que teníamos reservado. Cocinamos a fuego "medio" hasta que terminen de ablandarse, en este paso pueden ajustar el punto de sal... Me encanta colocar un toquesito de azúcar, es opcional, pero queda espectacular!

Yummi yummi i like beans a lot but I rarely found black beans I usually use it as an accompanying dish but with pork could be perfect also as a main dish.
