Good day lovely Hiver's, it's me again your @itsmary18 at your service. Today I would like to teach you on how to cook one of my favorite snacks camote cue in province. I know some of us already know how to do it perfectly. But It's my blog so no one can stop me to teach you, kidding HAHAHAH. So are you all Hiver's ready? Come and lets learn another recipe 😋. The first step we can do is to prepare the main ingredients of course. Honestly this sweet potatoes came from the garden of my grandmother, I just took some so I can make some snacks. And then, after we get tha sweet potatoes we need to wash it of course to avoid messy if we peel it.
We already peel the sweet potatoes, all we need to do is to choop it into circle and not totally realy thin. But it depends on you how you chopped it cause for me I like to chop it into exact thin. After that we need to wash it one more time so that the sip of the sweet potatoes were get off.
Of course we will cook a camote cue there's also another ingredients to prepare. Camote cue was so simple to make not only the process in cooking but also the ingredients you may have so we can make camote cue. The second ingredients was sugar and also cooking oil.
All ingredients are done now we proceed to prepare for cooking. Since I'm in province I usually use wood for cooking, it's not new for those people who's in province also. But the truth is I don't have any boutin to use and I have reason also why I don't like to use it. I prefer using wood than gas. There's different wood here in the province to use like wood of a coconot, are you all familiar with that?. I know some of us know it, the differences of wood and gas are the gas was simple to use and less hassle while the wood was a little bit hard and also too hot if you put a lot of wood to a fire. And also the ash of the wood, we cant avoid that in cooking so I suggest that if you want to use wood you must ready yourself for the struggles but the outcome was perfect.
I forget to take a picture while putting the oil and sweet potatoes on the pan. The first thing I do before I put the sweet potatoes on tha pan I just put the pan first to the fire ang after the pan already hit, I put the oil and I've wait a little longer until the oil was on hit too. After I've waited for the oil to become hit I already put the sweet potatoes and waited untill it turn soft and ready to put some sugar. In putting sugar it depends on us on how much sugar we want. For me I want to put sugar a lot to make it more sticky like I've always want whenever I cook camote cue.
The finish product is here! Chada, perfect combination of sweet potatoes and brown sugar. This is what I've always told that in cooking camote cue I always put much sugar to achieve the perfect sticky sweet sauce. Never mind the diabetes HAHAHA kidding. It's always my hobby when I have time to cook specially if I'm on my mood. Since I was a kid I like to cook different simple specialties like camote cue and ect. It depends on what's available ingredients have.
In cooking, we will find a peace and also a therapy of our inner self. Those people who love cooking can relate how much it gives us fulfillment on us. Cook with love thats always what it requires but some are due to the limited time, we can't make it with love but atleast the effort was in there.
