Hace unos días tuvimos la oportunidad de almorzar fuera de casa y, como estábamos en el centro comercial La Cascada, decidimos comer en la panadería Artesanos Gourmet. Quedamos gratamente sorprendidos. Anteriormente habíamos probado el sushi y los almuerzos ejecutivos de su menú, que están muy buenos, pero esta vez quisimos probar algo diferente y, preferiblemente, que la proteína fuera pescado, ya que es un alimento que casi no comemos.
Mi esposo pidió pescado rebozado con puré de patatas y ensalada de tomate, cebolla, pepino y lechuga. El pescado estaba exquisito, jugoso y bien sazonado, pero el puré de patatas estaba muchísimo mejor; me encantó. Lo único que cambiaría es que la ensalada estaba insípida y ni siquiera nos ofrecieron sal para ponerle al gusto. Del resto, me gustó esta elección.
Yo me pedí un enrollado de pollo relleno de jamón, queso y camarones, acompañado de ensalada César, patatas fritas y una salsa tártara espectacular. Si visitan esta panadería, tienen que probar este enrollado, es una bomba de sabor. Sin embargo, no podría comerme un plato entero porque el sabor es muy fuerte para mi paladar; por suerte, como lo compartimos, estuvo perfecto. Valió totalmente la pena tener esta experiencia gastronómica, no tiene nada que envidiarle a la de un restaurante de lujo, jeje.

A few days ago we had the opportunity to have lunch away from home and, since we were in the La Cascada shopping center, we decided to eat at the Artesanos Gourmet bakery. We were pleasantly surprised. We had previously tried the sushi and the executive lunches from their menu, which are very good, but this time we wanted to try something different and, preferably, that the protein was fish, since it is a food that we hardly eat.
My husband ordered battered fish with mashed potatoes and a salad of tomato, onion, cucumber and lettuce. The fish was delicious, juicy and well seasoned, but the mashed potatoes were even better; I loved it. The only thing I would change is that the salad was tasteless and we were not even offered salt to taste. Otherwise, I liked this choice.
I ordered a chicken roll stuffed with ham, cheese and shrimp, accompanied by Caesar salad, fries and a spectacular tartar sauce. If you visit this bakery, you have to try this roll, it is a flavor bomb. However, I couldn't eat a whole plate because the flavor is too strong for my palate; luckily, since we shared it, it was perfect. It was totally worth it to have this gastronomic experience, it has nothing to envy to that of a fancy restaurant, hehe.
