A veces extraño el pescadito fresco del oriente venezolano, aquí las pescaderías me quedan lejos y con la bebé es complicado todavía. Así que aproveche que pase cerca de un supermercado donde venden merluza fresca y súper conservada. Y compré una bandeja, para varias el menú de la semana.

Sometimes I miss the fresh fish from eastern Venezuela. Fish markets are far away here, and with the baby, it's even harder. So, I took advantage of the fact that I was passing by a supermarket that sells fresh and super-preserved hake. And I bought a tray to fill the week's menu for several people.

El día de hoy le mostrare el paso a paso de mi almuerzo, merluza empanizada con puré de papa así que manos a la obra. Para esto utilice, huevos , pan rallado , merluza , sal , papas

Today I'll show you the step-by-step instructions for my lunch: breaded hake with mashed potatoes. So, let's get to work. For this, I used eggs, breadcrumbs, hake, salt, and potatoes.

Inicie preparando todo, el pan rallado en un plato le agregué sal, pimentón en polvo y adobo , bati dos huevos en un bol de vidrio con un poquito de sal.

Start by preparing everything, the breadcrumbs on a plate, I added salt, paprika powder and seasoning, I beat two eggs in a glass bowl with a little salt.

Coloque una olla con agua en la cocina donde agregue las papas peladas y picadas en cubos pequeños .

Place a pot of water on the stove where you add the peeled and diced potatoes.

El pescado lo corte xq no me entraba todo en el sartén, lo pase por la mezcla de huevo

I cut the fish because it didn't all fit in the pan, so I dipped it in the egg mixture.

Luego lo empanice bien con el pan rallado , que le quede una capa medio gruesa .

Then I coated it well with breadcrumbs, leaving a medium-thick layer.

Y lo lleve a la cocina que ya tenía montado un sartén con aceite. Freír hasta que esté dorado por ambos lados

And I took it to the stove where I already had a pan with oil set up. Fry it until golden brown on both sides.

Cuando las papás estén listas retiramos del fuego , sacamos del agua y aplastamos con un poquito de mantequilla y leche .

When the potatoes are ready, remove from the heat, remove from the water and mash with a little butter and milk.

Y aquí está el resultado de mi delicioso almuerzo mi esposo quedó encantado, tenía días con ganas de comer pescado.

And here is the result of my delicious lunch, my husband was delighted, he had been wanting to eat fish for days.

El toque de limón siempre es importante, ustedes lo pueden acompañar con alguna ensalada cruda, arroz o unas papas rústicas. Espero les guste
