Ratlami Masala Poha - Healthy Breakfast...

Today i would like to share the recipe of Ratlami Masala Poha It is made up of Stream poha(flattened Rice) with some Indian Breakfast. It is Ideal breakfast served with cup of Tea or Coffee, Poha recipes have always been one of the popular ingredients for many Indian recipes.
There are many ways of making poha but 'm telling you the Easiest and Quickest way of Making it. Regularly, I make poha by soaking it. But one of friend gave me Ratlami sev, so I thought to make steamed Poha which is popular recipe of Indore also known as Indori Poha.
It's very healthy and easy to digest. It's a perfect breakfast recipe; it's made at least two days a week in my house. Try this recipe, you gonna love it for sure.

Ingredients📃


• 2 cups of Poha.
• 1 chopped onion.
• 2 tbsp of oil.
• 1 tbsp of Mustard seeds.
• 2 Slit Green Chilli.
• Pinch of asafoetida.
• 7-8 Neem Curry.
• 2 tbsp of fried Peanuts(optional).
• 1/2 tbsp of turmeric powder.
• 1/2 tbsp of Red chilli Powder.
• 1/2 tbsp of Garam Masala.
• Salt to Taste.
• Sev for Garnish.
• 1 tbsp of Lemon Juice.
• Green Coriander leaves for Garnish.

In the oil in the pan/Kadai add 1 tbsp mustard, 1 tbsp cumin, pinc hing and few curry leaves. Splutter the tempering.

On low flame, saute the onion untill it get translucent, add the Turmeric powder, Red chilli powder and Garam masala on low flame, untill it aromatic.

Your Poha tempering is ready to pour on Stream Poha. For a while keep it aside.

Boil the water in a pan.

Place the poha inside the sieve and place it over the pan of boiling water. Steam, for 5-7 minutes, or until the poha is softened

Pour the Tempering into the Poha, Mix it well so that poha get well coated with the Tempering.

Steam for another 5 minutes until the poha is softened and flavours are absorbed.

Your Poha is ready to serve.

Top with Indori poha masala with ratlami sev, peanut(optional), coriander and lemon.
