Hello Friends, how are you all ?? Wishing you all happy and prosperous life ahead.
This plate shows a festive Indian meal commonly enjoyed during Holi, the festival of colors. 🌸🎨 In India, a festival means the family coming together to enjoy, perform traditional rituals, and most importantly, prepare special food that creates a unique festive vibe; so today in my blog, I will show you the Holi food specially. The meal includes a variety of flavors—savory, tangy, and sweet—reflecting the joyful spirit of the celebration.

Holi kachri are traditional, crispy, deep-fried rice, cornflour or potato-based sun-dried snacks, which is fry it in hot oil and keep it on a large plate and also gives perfect holi vibes. We offer snacks like kachri and dahi vada to guests, relatives, and family who visit for Holi to put colour. This really creates a festive vibe among everyone, and it feels wonderful to visit each other's homes and enjoy delicious food.

This is a mixed veg dish that kids don't like at all, but we adults love it. It's made by finely chopping carrots, peas, and cauliflower, then sautéing them in oil with Indian spices—it turned out truly delicious!

In Indian culture, we avoid making plain rotis on festival days; instead, we cook fried dishes to create a celebratory mood. These deep-fried puris are made from wheat flour. Alone with pooris we also had rich delicious paneer based curry dish, which perfect festive vibes.

this Dahi Vada, which consists of soft lentil dumplings soaked in creamy yogurt and during the timing of serving topped with tangy tamarind chutney , green chutney, Depending on your choice and Taste. To be more delicious sprinkle of spices like cumin powder and red chilli powder, garnish it with Green Coriander leaves. It is refreshing and slightly sweet-tangy, making it a favorite festive snack. Dahi Vada are prepared only on special occasions, honestly, if Dahi Vada were made on normal days, it wouldn't have that same taste; I only enjoy eating it during festivals.

Sweets define festivals. Whether it is kheer or custard, celebrations feel incomplete without them. For dessert,This time we thought of making something unique, and these Mini Gulab Jamuns were made by my father, who is a great chef, rather than my mother. Mini Gulab Jamun, soft fried milk-based balls soaked in fragrant sugar syrup. Their sweetness perfectly completes the festive meal.
Overall, this plate represents a colorful and balanced Holi feast, combining refreshing yogurt dishes, flavorful curries, vix veg, and a traditional Indian sweet to celebrate the joyous occasion with family and relatives.
Thankyou ✌🏻
