Today I would like to share the recipe of Makhana Kheer(Foxnut Dessert). It is a traditional dessert recipe made with foxnut, milk, Dry fruits and sugar. This dessert made for any special occasion or festival celebrations, i made whenever i crave for something delicious homemade dessert,makhana kheer recipe, known for its creamy and rich texture. Almost all the Indian sweets are primarily made from milk, as it plays a crucial role in them. Everyone has their own way of making kheer, but I have shared the easiest and quickest recipe. I don't really have a sweet tooth, but I never say no to kheer. You guys should try this amazing recipe—it's super easy to make with basic ingredients, and your friends and family will love it

Ingredients 📃

• 1.5 litre of Milk.
• few saffron strands.
• ½ Cup sugar.
• ½ tsp cardamom powder.
• 1 cup makhana(Foxnuts)
• 2 tbsp Chopped cashew.
• 2 tbsp Chopped almonds.

In a kadai/pan heat the milk, Keep stirring, and cook until the milk thickens slightly.

I have cut the fox nuts into two pieces; then add them to the milk and stir well.

Add cardamom powder to this now. Definitely add cardamom powder for its great flavor, then cook it well after adding.

Now, you can add a few strands of saffron. You can also skip it if you don't have any, as saffron mainly adds a nice color.

Add sugar and chopped dryfruits, nix it well so that everything combined well.

Note - If you want to make kheer healthier, you can use jaggery instead of sugar. The color will change, but it will taste just as delicious.

I've added chopped dry fruits, though you can use a powder if you prefer. I prefer them chopped because biting into the nut pieces makes it much tastier.
