Today i would like to share the recipe of Indo-chinese Appetizer Honey Chilli Potatoes in which crispy & Deep Fried potatoes wedges are coated with Sauces ans veggies. As it's name it is sweet and Spicy in taste which makes it an ideal appetizer. This is my favorite snack. Whenever I eat out, I definitely order this. I prefer not to make it at home especially for me as it requires a lot of effort. So I have made this for the first time but tell me the truth, after making it I get so tired that I don't feel like eating it. You can also prepared this recipe with left over potatoes wedges or with Ready made Frozen French fries, just simply prepared the sauces and fried the French fries and Combined it both.

Ingredients📃
For Frying:
• 4 Potatoes.
• 2 tbsp Corn flour
• 2 tbsp maida(All-purpose Flour)
• ½ tsp pepper powder.
• Salt to Taste.
• oil, for frying
For Sauce
• 10-12 Chopped garlic.
• 2 Chopped Onion.
• 1 Chopped Capsicum.
• 2 Chopped Green Chilli.
• 2 tbsp of Honey.
• ½ tbsp of corn Flour.
• ½ cup of water.
• 1 tbsp of Red Chilli Powder.
• Pinch of red food Colour.
• Salt to taste.
• Spring onion for Garnish.
Process 👨🏻🍳
Firstly, peel the skin of the potato and Cut it into the size of french fries. Soak in water to remove starch. Drain off the water.
In a large bowl, take potato wedge.
Add salt, corn flour, maida, and pepper powder & Red Chill Powder.
Mix well making sure all the spices are well combined.
Heat the oil for frying, frying the coated potatoes wedges, on Medium flame untill it get crispy and light golden in colour.
Your French Fries is ready, you can enjoy it as Appetizers without coating it in the Sauces.
Make the slurry of corm flour and water and keep it aside.
Heat the oil in the same kadai, Add the chopped garlic wait untill it get aromatic then saute the chopped onion and capsicum on low flame untill it get Translucent.
Add the Salt, now you start getting amazing aroma of garlic, onion and Capsicum.
Add the red chilli powder on low flame, otherwise your red chill get burnt so be careful.
Further, add corn flour slurry and mix well making sure it turns glossy. Mix well till the sauces are coated well. Don't overlooked otherwise fried potatoes get soggy.
Your Crispy Honey chilli potatoes are ready to serve, serve hot otherwise potatoes get soggy. Garnish it with toasted sesame & Spring Onion.
