Today i would like to share Arhar(pigeon) Daal(lentil), it is Curry type cuisine served with Rice or Indian Bread. It is prepared with less ingredients and Delicious in taste. It is hralthy as it is good source of protein, fiber, and essential vitamins and minerals. Whenever i travels, after comimg home I crave to eat home maded aal and rice. No restaurant can provide the taste that home-cooked food has.

Ingredients 📃
• 1 Cup of Arhar Dal
• 1 tbsp of Turmeric Powder.
• Salt To taste.
• water as required.
• Green Coriander leaves for Garnish.
For Tampering
• 3 tbsp of Desi Ghee/ Clarified Butter.
• 1 tbsp of Cumin Seeds.
• Pinch of Asafoetida.
• Kashmiri Laal Mirch.
Process 📃
Rinse from 3 to 4 water to remove dirt, soaked it for atleast 30 Minutes.
firstly in a pressure cooker take arhar dal and 3 cup water. Add Turmeric powder & Salt.
pressure cook for first 3 whistles on high flame then another 2 whistles on low Flame or till dal gets cooked completely or get soft.
For Tempering
Heat the desi Ghee/clarified Butter in Tadka Pan.
Then add cumin seeds, wait untill it get aromatic.
Pinch of Asafoetida, wait untill it get aromatic.
Off the flame, let cool down the oil, then Add Kashmiri Laal Mirch. If you put red Chilli powder in hot ghee, it will burn turn into black in colour.
Pour the Tadka(tempering) into daal, Mix it Well, so that daal get mixed with Tadka.
Ganish it with Green Coriander leaves, Hot Arahar dal with Stream rice or Chatpati(Indian Bread).
