Today i would like to share the recipe of Aloo Tikki Chaat it is indian's famous Street Food, which is made up potato patties or potato tikki with other chaat chutneys and spices. In this, chutney and spices are added according to a person's taste and flavor preferences. It is Delicious in taste as it is filled with sweet and sour chutney and spices. Making this chaat requires extensive preparation and is quite time-consuming. I only made it because I already had both chutneys ready. One thing is true: the joy found in street-side chaat isn't quite matched by the homemade version. Making aloo tikki usually requires a lot of time and ingredients, but I have shared a simple & Quickest recipe, do try it as well & let me know how was it.

Ingredients 📃
• 5-6 Boiled Potatoes.
• ¼ Cup of White Peas.
• 2 tbsp of Green Chutney.
• 2 tbsp of tamarind Chutney.
• 2 tbsp of Curd.
• Pinch of Baking Soda.
• 2 tbsp of Cornflour.
• ½ tsp cumin powder.
• ½ tsp chilli powder.
• ½ tsp chaat masala.
• Salt to Taste.
• Mathri while Serving.

Soak the peas overnight, then pressure cook them with baking soda and salt. After 5-6 whistles, check if they are soft and set them aside.

Take the boiled potato, you can use refrigerated Boiled potatoes , or you can boil fresh ones, but you must grate them to avoid lumps.

Now in a large bowl take boiled and grated potato, add salt, Red chilli Powder & Corn Flour. Mix well making sure everything is well combined.

To prepare the tikki, grease your hands with oil and pinch a ball-sized dough, shape in the patties, repeat the process with remaining material.

Heat the oil in the kadai/ Pan. Now fry in hot oil, keeping the flame on medium.

Fry both the sides until they turn golden brown and crispy from both the sides.

Now to prepare the chaat, place the tikki onto the plate, crush it as shown in the picture.

Pour some white Matar/pea into it.

Top with curd, green chutney, tamarind chutney, chaat masala.

then Add salt and Red chilli powder,

Chaat Final preparation depends on a person’s individual taste; some like it sour while others like it sweet, so one can customize it according to their preference.

At the end, crush some mathri, add chopped onion(optional) and Garnish it with Green Coriander leaves.
