U malo toplog mleka (ne vrelog) rastopiti kvasac sa kašičicom šećera i ostaviti da nadođe. U velikoj posudi pomešati brašno, so i ostatak šećera. Dodati nadošli kvasac, jaja, preostalo mleko, ulje i mutiti dok se ne dobije glatko testo. Ostaviti testo da naraste: Pokriti posudu i ostaviti testo da udvostruči svoju zapreminu na toplom mestu. Fil: Pomešati izmrvljeni sir sa dva belanca. Nadošlo testo podeliti na više delova i svaki deo razvući u oblik valjka ili kruga. Naneti fil ili krem na testo, saviti ga u kiflicu i ređati u pleh obložen papirom za pečenje. Umutiti za premaz žumance sa dve kašičice mleka i premazati svaku kiflicu. Posipati kiflice susamom. Peci u zagrejanoj rerni na 180°C oko 20-25 minuta, ili dok ne postanu zlatnožute.

Homemade Cheese Rolls (Soft and Fluffy)

Ingredients:

Fresh yeast

Warm milk (not hot)

1 teaspoon sugar (for activating the yeast)

Flour

A pinch of salt

Remaining sugar

2 eggs (separate yolks and whites)

Oil

Crumbled cheese (for the filling)

Sesame seeds (for topping)

Preparation:

Activate the yeast:
Dissolve the yeast in a little warm milk with a teaspoon of sugar. Let it sit for a few minutes until it becomes foamy and rises.

Make the dough:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and remaining sugar. Add the activated yeast, eggs, the rest of the milk, and oil. Mix well until the dough becomes smooth and elastic.

Let it rise:
Cover the bowl and place it in a warm spot. Allow the dough to double in size.

Prepare the filling:
In a separate bowl, mix crumbled cheese with two egg whites.

Shape the rolls:
Once the dough has risen, divide it into smaller portions. Roll out each piece into a circle or oval shape. Spread the cheese filling over the surface, then roll it into a crescent shape. Arrange the rolls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Brush and decorate:
Beat the egg yolk with two teaspoons of milk, then brush the top of each roll. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake:
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 20–25 minutes, or until the rolls turn golden brown.

Tip:
Serve warm with a glass of yogurt or a cup of tea — perfect for breakfast or a cozy afternoon snack.
