Hello,Hi, namaste to all hive users reaching this post,hope doing great. Today I am here to share you the recipe of samosa with some tips which I learned while making it.
I made it in the evening time , with the help of my mother.
Its a very yummy and delicious snacks known in India.
So here is the recipe of it.
Boil the potatoes well and then peal of the outer skin.
After this, mash the potatoes well and add salt , turmeric powder, coriander powder and chilli in it .
Mix it well,now take a pan and pour some oil in it.
Put some cumin seeds and chilli in it,now add on the mashed potatoes in it and fry it properly.
Let it cool down and then put it aside.
The filling is ready ,now we have to make the dough for outer covering.
Take 1 cup refined wheat flour,put some carom seeds (ajwain),half spoon salt,1 spoon ghee,2 spoon oil. After this mix it properly and then add some water. Neete the dough properly and make it soft.
Tip1: Add water slowly and less ,so that it wont get sticky.It will create problem while rolling the dough.
Now put it in a container.
Now lets start making Samosa's
Firstafall we will prepare all the Samosa's then fry it.
Take a little portion of the dough and roll it properly. Then cut it into 2 portions.
Then take a portion,apply some water with the help of fingers in the sides and convert it into a triangle open from one side and then put the filling inside.
Tip 2: do not fill excessive filling in it
Now apply some water in the open side and stick it properly,here your samosa are ready to fry.
Do these steps with all of them.
There shape are not that proper .
Now start frying them.
Its ready for serving,I used Schezwan sauce and mango chutney as dip and here it's ready for serving .
