Hello food lovers, How are you? By the way, do you like Chinese food? I like Hot Pot because I like vegetables that are cooked briefly and have a crunchy texture... Recently I got a lunch voucher at Haidilao hot pot from my company. Incidentally, I have never eaten at Haidilao hot pot restaurant... I went there during lunch time with my coworker.
Haidilao Hot Pot
Haidilao Restaurant itself is a restaurant that first opened in 1994... However, in Indonesia it first opened in 2019 and its first restaurant was in Gandaria City which is my workplace. Although it first opened in the mall where I work, I used to be afraid to eat there because I thought they sold pork too. Because I am a Muslim, so I have to be careful in choosing a restaurant.
The taste
Haidilao provides a variety of menus that all seem delicious... But I couldn't order them all, because I only had a voucher worth two hundred thousand rupiah. First of all... my friend and I chose the soup flavor. I ordered Mala soup while my friend ordered Tom yam soup. I chose vegetables, tofu, and chicken with lime leaf seasoning, while my friend chose another menu. The food tasted very good, but to be honest I didn't really like Mala soup. I preferred the Tom yam soup that my friend ordered.
The service
Of all the hot pot restaurants I've been to, Hadilao has the best service. The waiters are friendly and serve very well. When we just sat down, we were immediately given watermelon as a welcome food. Then after ordering, we were invited to take snacks and fruits provided while waiting for our orders to arrive. There are many kinds of snacks and fruits provided. During the meal, we were served well... And after we finished eating, we were given ice cream and snacks to take home.
The Price
For the food I ordered, it would cost me IDR 248,000... which means I have to add IDR 48,000 because I used a voucher. By the way, my friend and I split the bill so we could use the voucher. I think the price is worth it considering how much food they provide and also their good service. Actually, the food I ordered can be eaten by two people...
