Happy Sunday to all by blog readers all over the world. It is a beautiful wet Sunday afternoon over here. It has been raining for quite a number of hours and the weather is so sweet. I trust you are all having a great day so far as well?
Now let's get down to business:
In this post, I will be sharing with you how I prepared hake fish using an airfryer. One of the best ways to cook fish is using an air fryer especially if you want it with little or no oil. The fish I used is called Hake fish but popularly known as panla in Nigeria. The fish is usually smoked in Nigerian markets.
Ingredients
- Hake fish (Panla)
- ½ tsp dry grounded pepper
- Seasonings - ½ tsp curry powder, ½ tsp herbal spice mix, ½ tsp seasoning cubes
- Salt to taste
Step by Step
Start by washing your fish and cut into desired size.
Next use paper towels to pat the fish dry so that your seasonings will stick well to it.
Next, prep all the ingredients/seasonings you will be needing so that you won't be leaving any out.
So, I put the desired amount of seasoning (curry, herbal spice, seasoning cubes and peper) I need on the plate where my fish is carefully arranged.
Then I begin to rub in the seasonings on both sides of the fish including the inside.
Meanwhile, I had preheated my airfryer for about 3 minutes using 200°C.
So, i placed some foil paper on the air fryer basket before arranging the fish on it. This is to ensure the air fryer basket doesn't get too messed up.
Now begin to air fry your fish at 200°C for about 20 minutes. Remember to flip the sides after some minutes to ensure that both sides are evenly cooked.
Your fish is ready.
Serve with any food of your choice.
