Hey lovelies ❤️
It's your favorite girl @debbie-ese 😍
Welcome to my blog 🤗
In this post I will be sharing with you how I made chicken curry sauce. A few weeks back I shared this same recipe and here I am again making it for my family to enjoy with their Sunday rice. Chicken curry sauce is not only sumptuous but it is a mix of so much nutritional packed ingredients that your body will appreciate you for.
Apart from the taste and the nutritional values it offers to our body, it is also very easy to prepare. With the right ingredients in place, ylur chicken curry sauce will be ready under 30 minutes.
So, walk with me as I show you the process of making this pot filled with beauty.
Ingredients
Chicken
7 green bell pepper
4 yellow bell pepper
3 scotch bonnet
5 big sized carrots
2 medium-sized onions
2 tsp curry powder
4 seasoning cubes
½ tsp herbal spice mix
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 tbsp cooking oil
Chicken stock
2 cups water
Salt to taste
Step by Step
To start the process we will prep all our ingredients and we will start by washing our green bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, carrot, and onions. After washing them thoroughly we will cut them into desired sizes and set aside.
For your scotch bonnet, add some onions and blend it roughly and set aside too.
In a small bowl add about 2 tablespoon of all-purpose flour and mix with some water until you get a smooth paste. Set aside.
Next, we will wash our chicken and cut into small biteable chunks as well and set aisde. The same goes to the cow skin we will be using too.
Now, in a pot placed on medium heat add your chicken and season it with curry powder, herbal spice mix, seasoning cubes, onions and salt. Cook until it is soft.
Then, you can fry the chicken slightly.
In the pot where you boiled the chicken, add your blended scotch bonnet and allow to cook for some minutes, about 5 minutes.
Next, add your onions, green bell pepper and carrots and allow to cook. You can add some more water if it is too thick and you can also add more seasoning if needed.
Now, pour your all-purpose flour paste and pour into the sauce. This is to thicken your sauce.
So, leave it to simmer for about 3 to 5 minutes under low heat and your chicken curry sauce is ready.
You can enjoy with some white rice, pasta, yam, plantain and so on.
Thanks for reading and see you in my next one.
